The Larnaca District

The coastal town of Larnaca has an excellent year round climate and is ideally located for exploring this magnificent island. There are excellent road networks and Larnaca Airport is served by all major UK city airports. The town has a long history and has much to offer, including many ancient monuments, quality shops and restaurants, a marina, sandy beaches and the salt lake nature reserve. Winter visitors can take advantage of the sunny Larnaca climate combined with skiing in the Trudos mountains a mere 45 minutes drive away.

Pyla area

Pyla village is a semi rural residential village and offeres a peaceful retreat from the tourist centres. Pyla has a superb "blue flag" sandy beach, a pleasant village centre and several friendly local restaurants. The vibrant ancient town of Larnaca is only a short drive away and has a lot to offer, with a stunning marina, the salt lake nature reserve, many ancient monuments including the medieval fort, plus many more shops and quality restaurants. There are numerous excellent beaches to choose from, Waterworld Aqua Park and several golf courses only a short drive away.

How to get there

Monarch Airlines operate a budget service to Larnaca from Luton UK. Many other operators fly from all major UK airports. Larnaca Airport is just 15 minutes drive from the apartment. A car is recommended to get around the district - drivers drive on the left as in th UK, and all road signs are in English.

The dining kitchen is superbly equipped, with fan oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, and dining table. The comfortable lounge includes a TV with satellite channels and DVD/CD player (plays UK format), seating for five and a double sofa bed. The double bedroom features large fitted wardrobes, a safe, a juliet balcony and air coditioning. Quality bedlinen is provided, and a mid-stay cleaning service can be arranged.

This brand new first floor apartment is located in the quiet village of Pyla, just outside Larnaca Town. The complex features an attractive pool area with gardens and tennis courts. The nearest beach features clear shallow waters and is 2km (1.2 miles) away, where there are also numerous restaurants etc.
