Home description

Luxury two bedded apartment which sleeps six. Double room, twin room and a bed-settee in lounge area. Apartment has a fully fitted kitchen area with cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, and washing machine. Fully air conditioned in both the lounge and both bedrooms. Dining table which seats six, and south facing balcony with patio furniture. Just 2 Km from the award winning Pyla beach.

The complex includes electric gates at the entrance, gardens, a swimming pool and tennis courts. It is in Pyla village, which has a supermarket, bars and restaurants within walking distance. This is an uncrowded resort and is an ideal retreat for those who enjoy peace and tranquility away from the crowds. It is also close enough for those that wish to venture into the busier resort of Larnaca, which is a straight run and will take approximately 15 minutes by car. Although a car is not essential, it is advisable if you want to see the many beautiful sites that Cyprus has to offer. The Dhekelia Road is close by (Approx 2km), and has a vast range of restaurants and bars to suit everyone's taste.

The property also has a safe for valuables, which you can set your own code on for added security.

The Larnaca District

The town of Larnaca is just a short drive from Pyla Resort. It has a collection of restaurants, shops and bars. The sandy beaches are beautiful. It is situated in the South East of the island, and is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful island.

Temperatures in Cyprus are usually between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius all year round.


Pyla area

Pyla is the only village in Cyprus where the Cypriots and Turks live harmoniously. A short drive through Pyla, and the border is found to the North of the Island. The North of the Isalnd is accessible if you have your passport, and makes a lovely day trip.


How to get there

Fly to Larnaca from many airpots. Also flights to Paphos, but there is an hour and a half's drive to Larnaca from Paphos. Motorway networks take you straight to Pyla, and is is approximately 20 minutes from Larnaca airport. Many of the budget airlines fly to Cyprus. Driving in Cyprus is on the left hand side of the road.

Car Hire can be arranged or pre booked at Larnaca Airport where all major car hire companies operate.

All items in this apartment are new, and of a high standard. Bed linen is provided, as are both hand and bath towels. On arrival it will have been cleaned, and fresh bed linen and laundry left for you. There is DVD player as well as a television - there is a local DVD club, which we are members of, and details may be given prior to departure so you can rent the latest DVD's if necessary.

The old village of Pyla still retains a traditional friendly Cypriot atmosphere. Here you will find both Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots enjoying life in the same village. With this property being on the edge of the village makes it especially suitable for couples and families. There are various shops and numerous tavernas and bars selling authentic greek, turkish and international food along with live music and dancing all at competitive prices. Close by there is an amusement park with go karts and horse riding. The local blue flag beach is about 5 minutes drive away with water sports and plenty of bars and restaurants.

If you wish to explore North Cyprus, there is a crossing point north of Pyla village.

Further details outdoors:
The balcony is south facing, so the sun shines on it throughout the day, and it has a patio table with four chairs.

There is a communal pool which is enclosed in a garden area, and there are sun loungers and brollies available free of charge.

There is a tennis court, which is floodlit, should you wish to play at night.

The complex is gated electronically, with security code.

Apartment block has intercom access and doorbell.


Further details

This is a no smoking apartment, although smoking is permitted within the grounds of the complex.

The apartment is on the first floor, although there is lift access, so would be suitable for wheelchair access.

Sorry, but no pets allowed.


Conditions

We ask for a refundable security deposit of £100.00 which will be returned subject to a satisfactory property inspection following your stay.

25% of rental fee to secure booking.

Final payment due 6 weeks before arrival.
