This delightful and spacious apartment is situated in the newly developed Pyla Gardens Complex. It is a few minutes walk from the picturesque town of Pyla and 2 miles from gorgeous blue flag sandy beaches.
The 2 bedroom apartment is luxuriously furnished with high quality items providing a stylish and practical environment that complements Cypriot living. It consists of an open plan living area with a fully-equipped fitted kitchen, dining area and lounge.
The apartment comfortably sleeps up to six people. It has two air conditioned bedrooms - one double and one twin; The rooms are spacious and full of light with tasteful furnishing. The larger sofa in the relaxing lounge converts into a king size sofa bed. All bedding and towels (except beach towels) are provided. There is one shared bathroom with a bath/shower and an additional toilet/washroom.
The apartment provides an ideal base from which to enjoy a beach holiday, explore Larnaca and other cities and areas in Cyprus, or engage in a variety of outdoor activities including diving, trekking, quad biking and water sports.

Our apartment has everything a home from home should; the fitted kitchen has an oven and ceramic hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and all utensils. The large bright open-plan living area has two leather sofas, with the large 3 seater sofa becoming a sofa bed when required. There is a flat-screen TV with satellite TV, DVD/CD player and a Sony Play Station 2 with a selection of games. The dining table seats 6 on comfortable leather chairs.
The double bedroom has two large windows allowing plenty of light, providing an airy , comfortable and relaxing space. Blackout blinds and a king size bed will ensure you get a good nights sleep. There are large wardrobes, a dressing table and bedside tables with lamps. The bedroom also has it's own, independent air conditioning unit.
The other spacious bedroom contains two single beds (which can be pushed together if needed), as well as all of the items in the main bedroom.
There is a patio leading off from the lounge (and one side of the double room) through large sliding doors. There is stylish patio furniture with a table and seating for six to allow al fresco dining.

The large communal pool is in the centre of the complex set in uniquely designed landscaped gardens to help you relax and unwind. The tennis court is available for use and floodlit (by inserting €1) for night use.
The keys are picked up at the apartment. Detailed instructions are provided on booking. Car rental is recommended.

The Larnaca region
Cyprus floats on the waters of the European Mediterranean pointing towards the shores of Syria, Turkey and Lebanon. It is a unique mixture, a kaleidoscopic blend: its cultural influences are dominated by Western Europe, but its geographic proximity to Asia and Africa gives it more than just a hint of the East. Long coveted by mainland Greece and Turkey, this small island has its own definite and beguiling character.
Larnaca is a rugged, charming town with a melancholy and seductive character. The main promenade, lined with tall palm trees, is full of cafes and bars. The old Turkish quarter is a maze of quiet streets, small whitewashed houses and ceramic studios. The streets around the old market area have shops with the oldest crafts in Cyprus.
Small niches hide ancient men making gigantic church candles. Peep into dark, shady antique shops to see the iron mongers and pitta-bread makers at work. Nearby, on the city centre's main street, you will find chain stores like Zara or Top shop. So, as the cliché goes, the old and new meet in Larnaca...but it might be fairer to say that the new is trickling into this sleepy town, and for the most part, it fits in around the old.
Pyla village is in the Larnaca District, located in the eastern part of the island, adjacent to the British Sovereign Base Area of Dhekelia.
The village is special as it is the only settlement in Cyprus still inhabited by both its original Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot inhabitants. The village has three churches and one mosque.
Pyla is also known in Greece and Cyprus as the birthplace of popular Greek Cypriot singer Anna Vissi.
It has a typical Mediterranean climate, warm and rather dry, with rainfall mainly between November and March. In general, the island experiences mild wet winters and dry hot summers which are separated by short autumn and spring seasons. The higher mountain areas are cooler and moister than the rest of the island. Snow is possible in the Troodos Mountains.
Due to its location Pyla is a good base from which to explore the Island. Larnaca is just a 20 minute drive away, Nicosia can be reached in 40 minutes, Limassol and Ayia Napa are both an hour away by car.

"Excellent apartment with all needs catered for, well-situated in Pyla, close to beach and just minutes from the airport"
We had a wonderful stay in this excellent 2-bed apartment situated in a quiet family-friendly complex with swimming pool and nice tennis courts. The apartment has been thoughtfully furnished and equipped for all needs, including flat screen TV, DVD player, Games station and beach things. We are a couple with a young baby, a cot bed and high chair were provided for free without the supplementary charge that is often added.
The complex is situated close to the centre of the pleasant village of Pyla, with its amenities including a nearby taverna (English-run) providing nice meals (they even served us a takeaway at our request when we arrived late from the airport on the first night) and free WiFi. Close-by (less than 5 minute drive) is the excellent clean long sandy beach, and several restaurants.
Pyla itself provided us with easy access to Agia Napa, Larnaca and Limassol on the days we wanted to explore.
We would heartily recommend staying here.
