"I spent ages trying to find the perfect cottage - it was worth every minute"

Spent a glorious week at Gorwel. Beautiful but homely cottage where we immediately felt comfortable. Barrie and Joan provide everything you could need and some lovely extra touches. My dad, never easily impressed, thought it was the best cottage we had ever stayed in and did not want to leave.

Thanks Denise and family for you very kind words. Glad to think we have thought of everything. Hope to see you again soon with Jon walking properly this time !

"North wales jewel"

We first visits gorwel over a decade ago - we revisited this month as a family once more, and we were thrilled with our stay. Our memories were added to and enhanced as a wonderful cottage has got even better.
There is everything you could possibly need for a family stay: the kitchen is kitted out excellently (the wine, bara brith and milk a welcome treat!)
The number and standard bathrooms was fantastic too.
The cottage is kitted out with games, books, DVDs, BBQ, garden furniture - in fact, whatever you want to do depending on the weather and what you want to do, I think it's covered.
We most definately will be back.

Thanks for the positive feedback, and we are pleased we have all bases covered. Look forward to seeing you again

"The nicest cottage we have ever stayed in."

Gorwel has to be, by far, the best cottage we have ever stayed in. It was equipped to an exceptionally high standard - I cannot think of anything that the owners could have added to improve it. The owners of the property are very welcoming, not only leaving milk and a much appreciated bottle of wine, but a home made cake also. Nothing was any trouble. The endless supply of logs and kindling meant we could enjoy the treat of a real fire every evening - even though we had very warm weather! The location of this cottage is excellent. You can enjoy the excellent beaches, which are all within easy reach, as well as being ideally located for the beautiful Snowdonia National Park - I cannot think of a better location. The sea view from the cottage window is priceless and the area extremely quiet and peaceful. I cannot rate this property highly enough.

Thanks for all your kind comments. Hope to see you again sometime

"Glorious views, beautiful cottage and a great weekend!"

Gorwel is a beautiful cottage with idyllic views. Barrie was a great host, friendly and helpful, but he gave us plenty of space too. There was plenty of space and we had a great time.

Thanks - glad you enjoyed. Hope to see you again sometime

"A highly recommended property for a relaxing holiday."

To begin with, 'Gorwel' is wonderfully comfortable, luxury cottage, set in lovely grounds, and very well equipped.
We had a lovely week here at 'Gorwel'. We were expecting relaxation and a stress-free break - we were not disappointed. The owners house is close by, but after the initial very warm welcome by 'Barry', the owner, our privacy was respected and we didn't feel at all overlooked or intruded upon.
There is plenty of parking space for the property and is not shared by anyone else.
Overall, we made a good decision by choosing Gorwel. We think you also will not be disappointed.

"Glorious Gorwel!"

Welsh Tourist Board rated 5*, with good reason .Great accommodation that caters for all age ranges and abilities. A lot of thought has gone into creating a 'home from home' atmosphere within a spectacular environment with amazing sea views; great for beaches, bird watching, walking, cycling, golf etc; (even better, just chill,-Gorwel is a place you can switch off and relax with plenty of space for children and teens to entertain themselves safely within the grounds.
We have been returning to Gorwel for friend and family reunions now for seven years and hope we can continue to do so for many more!!
