The Gwynedd region
The property is superbly located to take advantage of all North Wales has to offer. The beaches of the Lleyn peninsula, the mountains of Snowdonia, the coastal paths, ancient castles, steam railways and country pubs are all only moments away. The area is perfect for either a different activity every day or just taking it easy for days on end.
Pwllheli is a bustling market town and the unofficial capital of the Lleyn. One major feature is the marina, but it also offers cafes, restaurants and a plethora of little shops. Just down the coast is the fashionable town of Abersoch and in the other direction Criccieth with it's famous castle and nearly as famous ice creams!

We stayed at Gig House for a few days in the autumn and enjoyed fabulous weather and empty beaches. The house has been subject to a very sympathetic, elegant and tasteful renovation and is deceptively spacious. It looks as if no expense has been spared with a very high quality kitchen and really nice fixtures and fittings. I even found out where the bath was purchased an bought one myself! Would definitely recommend and will stay here again soon. Rob Hodgson
