Part of an exciting and exceptional new development, Gadlas is one of two large cottages on the beautiful Llyn Peninsula. We are all looking for "the feel good factor" these days and it can be found here in abundance. Special features such as a private sauna, steam/shower cabin and underfloor heating throughout are some of the added extras that make these luxury cottages stand out from the crowd.

This "off the beaten track" gem has stunning sandy beaches in every direction, endless activities and attractions on your doorstep and is surrounded by spectacular views of the Llyn Peninsula.

Ground Floor

A beautiful open plan kitchen and dining room that you won't want to leave. Top of the range cream painted oak kitchen with granite worktops. Two large single ovens and large induction hob. Built in fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Large dining table for up to 14 guests and flat screen TV. Tiled floor with ground source underfloor heating and patio doors opening out to the front patio breakfast area.

Sauna - Infrared sauna cubicle with tiled floor in room.

Bedroom 1 - optional superking bed or twin beds. Ensuite level entry wet room. This room has level entry all the way from the car park – so would be suitable for wheelchair users.

Bedroom 2 - Up a few steps from the kitchen - optional superking bed or twin beds.

Bedroom 3 - Family bedroom with 1 king bed plus full size bunk bed.

Bedroom 2 and 3 sharing bathroom with steam-shower cubicle, basin and toilet on tiled floors

Upstairs

Bedroom 4 - Family bedroom suite with 1 king size bed and 2 single beds. Ensuite bathroom with a fantastic free standing, polished aluminum boat type bath with shower mixer taps.

Bedroom 5 - King size bed and an ensuite shower room. This room has panoramic views of the Lleyn Peninsula – probably the bedroom that people will have to toss for!

First floor lounge with fantastic views of Rhiw mountain on one side and looking back towards the rest of the Lleyn Peninsula on the other side. 2nd TV. Large leather suite with a log burner for those cosy and/or romantic nights in.

Breakfast patios to the front of each cottage with picnic benches for the morning sun, that open out onto a small communal grass area. Private garden area with BBQs and outside dining furniture at the rear. Private entrance and parking.

Large communal playing area includes a climbing frame and football goals (shared with holiday cottage next door).

The North Wales region

Situated down small country lanes between Bryncroes and Sarn Mellteyrn in a brilliantly scenic and central location on the Lleyn Peninsula, just three quarters of a mile from Sarn – a lovely walk in itself. Fantastic views, with circular walks possible along country lanes and pathways from the cottage.

The village of Sarn Mellteyrn offers pottery, tea rooms and two good pubs. There is a shop with post office, and a garage with shop that rents out DVDs in the village, as well as a small playing field which can be reached by a pleasant walk along the country lanes.

Abersoch, Aberdaron, Nefyn and all the beautiful sandy beaches of the peninsula are close at hand with the nearest beach being 3½ miles away. Walking, golf, sea fishing trips and plenty of water sport facilities are available here. The market town of Pwllheli, the resort of Criccieth and Porthmadog as well as numerous historic and scenic attractions such as the Snowdonia National Park, Ffestiniog Railway, castles and the Italian village of Portmeirion are all easily reached.

Beaches

Central to all beaches on the Lleyn Peninsula. The nearest is Traeth Penllech, a long sandy beach that makes you really feel you are away from it all. 3.5 miles

Watersports

Abersoch beach offers flat water for wakeboarding and waterskiing, sailing, power boating and windsurfing. 6.5 miles

Porth Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth) is a very popular venue for surfers and body boarders. 9 miles

Walking

Lleyn Coastal Path – 84 miles around the Llyn Peninsula, from Caernarfon to Porthmadog. Join the path 3 miles from the cottage, in Penllech.

Yr Eifl (The Rivals) – Mountain range including the highest point on the Llyn Peninsula. 4.5 miles in length. 12 miles from cottage.

Golf

Abersoch Golf Club - 18 hole golf course, adjoining the beach. 6.5 miles

Nefyn and District Golf Club - 26 holes, offering two cliff top 18 hole courses set in spectacular coastal scenery. 7.5 miles

Llyn Golf Centre – Pen-y-Berth. 15 bay driving range, practice green and bunker and 9 hole golf course with sea views. For beginners and advanced players - hire clubs available. 8 miles

Pwllheli Golf Club - 18 hole golf course, suitable for golfers of all ages and abilities. 10 miles.

Horse-riding

Pen Llyn Stud & Riding Centre – Pwllheli. Stud farm and rides for any level of experience. 2.5 miles

Llanbedrog Riding Stables - Horse-riding lessons etc. Beach and hill rides. 6.5 miles

Cilan Riding Centre – Abersoch. Beach rides and more. Great for kids and novices. 9 miles

"The Best Place!!!!"

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and luxury!!! Brilliant huge kitchen, fully equipped!!! Beds were very comfortable!!! Everything - good quality!!! It was 12 of us there and we had amazing time, we played outside, had BBQ, etc. We enjoyed everything about this cottage!! DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!

"Class"

This cottage is a beautiful old stone farm building which has been skillfully converted into 2 large "houses" each sleeping 10-14 people that can be interconnected if needed
the owner has done a really classy job - no expense spared and the units are immaculately presented with all the latest mod cons and everything to 5* hotel standard
brilliant accomodation, great location, wonderful owner and even good weather ( this time)
