The Florida / Florida Gulf Coast region
Charlotte County was recently voted the “Best Place to live in the South”. It provides some of the most beautiful natural settings that Florida has to offer. Charlotte Harbor includes one of the world’s largest protected marine estuaries encompassing 270 square miles with 219 miles of natural shoreline. There is a unique network of barrier islands and mangrove forests. There are 129 square miles of sparkling waters and aquatic preserves, 12 miles of soft sandy beaches, thousands of plant species, hundreds of hiking trails, an abundance of marine life, clean air, warm sunshine and an air of tranquility.
Punta Gorda Isles area
The city of Punta Gorda is a historic town that lies along beautiful Charlotte Harbor. Streets lined with huge royal palms, beautifully restored period homes with wide verandas, brick lanes, street lamps and benches leave an almost tangible old-Florida atmosphere. Nearly everything is waterfront here from hotels and shopping to parks and fine dining.
Located on the water in beautiful Punta Gorda is Fishermen’s Village the most interesting vacation waterfront complex in Southwest Florida.
You will find a multitude of exclusive boutiques and shops. Superb dining. Exciting daily nightlife. Something different for every day!
Here you will find all of your vacation needs including a full service marina with cruise boats, fishing boats, rental speed boats, jet skis and bicycles.
