About the home

Our detached villa is located in a quiet residential area within a short drive of shops, restaurants and many leisure facilities like tennis and golf. Famous Fishermen's Village is about a 5 minute drive. There is a small beach park also within a 5 minute drive with the larger Gulf Coast beaches being within about a 30 to 40 minutes away. As well as our own private pool we have our own boat dock which is ideal for those guests who like boating and fishing.

The living room, master bedroom suite and family/dining room all open to the pool and outside living area great for al fresco dining or relaxing on the loungers.

The rear of the villa faces South and has views across the saltwater canal where dolphins occasionally play or Florida sunsets may be seen and the whole villa is surrounded by irrigated subtropical gardens.

Irrigated gardens surround the villa and these are laid mainly to lawn with some mature trees and shrubs. A path leads from the lanai to the canal where there is a private dock suitable for mooring a boat. Charlotte Harbor can be reached by boat in about 15 minutes.

The villa is close to a small beach park, shops, restaurants, golf, fishing and numerous other attractions
Hire a boat nearby and perhaps fish, watch dolphins, picnic on a deserted beach or just explore the Gulf Islands.

The city of Punta Gorda is a historic town that lies along beautiful Charlotte Harbor. Streets lined with huge royal palms, beautifully restored period homes with wide verandas, brick lanes, street lamps and benches leave an almost tangible old-Florida atmosphere. Nearly everything is waterfront here from hotels and shopping to parks and fine dining.

Located on the water in beautiful Punta Gorda is Fishermen’s Village the most interesting vacation waterfront complex in Southwest Florida. Here you will find a multitude of exclusive boutiques and shops, superb dining, exciting daily nightlife in fact something different for every day!

Also at Fishermen's Village is a full service marina with cruise boats, fishing boats, rental speed boats, jet skis and bicycles. Boat hire is also available.

Punta Gorda can be reached from the UK by direct flights to four international airports – Tampa (TPA), Orlando International (MCO), Orlando Sandford (SFB) and Miami (MIA). Schedule and non-schedule flights are available from most major UK airports.

The nearest international airport is Southwest Florida International Airport - Fort Myers (RSW). This can be reached with Delta Airlines via Atlanta or US Air via Charlotte or Philidelphia.
