Punta Gorda was named "Best Place to retire and most healthy place to live by US NEWS in Sept of 08" .We have a small beach which you can walk to from the villa. Boat rentals are available to explore the gulf and the Charlotte harbor at Fisherman's Village which is one mile away from home.
North Port about 18 miles has the third richest mineral spring in the world and makes for a great day. Shopping is nearby and the downtown of Punta Gorda has an active calendar for concerts, wine tasting, and art festivities. The area has an historic flavour and has much to see.
Boca Grande, Gasparilla Island and Capitiva just a short ride away. Thanksgiving and Christmas time are especially festive in Punta Gorda, all activities are geared toward the holidays.Several golf courses three miles away.

Charlotte harbor is the second largest harbour in the state of Florida and offers 125 miles of pristine boating water. There is music mostly every evening at Fisherman's Village, which is a mile away and walking distance from the villa if you do not care to drive.
Punta Gorda Isle is pristine and is known for its beautiful sunsets and lush golf courses including the famous St Andrews. As always a calendar of events will be supplied for the month when you are visiting tranquillity villa. The third Thursday of every month is "Gallery Walk" downtown. All the businesses participate. Distance from "Disney" and Kissimmee area is 112 Miles. We are located about 60 miles from Marco Island, Naples and Anna Maria Island to the north. East coast or West Coast of Florida we are centrally located. Just 45 miles app is Sarasota and Long Boat Key. We are within walking distance to Fisherman's Village and The Wyvern Hotel our new addition to Punta Gorda. Money Magazine in Sept of 09 indicates the Charlotte County area is the best place to retire.

This is a large tip lot property which allows privacy abound. A great honeymoon spot.
Further details outdoors: Pool is completely private and you are not overlooked by another property. Pool is electric and solar heated normal temperature of pool is 85 degrees sun all day with this south west exposure. Lanai is oversized with plenty of seating and room to spare for outside dining. There is an outside Jacuzzi as well.
Other outdoor facilities include garage, 8 garden chairs, beach chairs. 240ft of water allows you plenty of room to fish off our dock and watch for all MARINE LIFE ACTIVITY because of the large open basin harbour, this is a child's delight and adults' too!
