This is a great location for events at Goodwood, Arundel and Chichester. House on the brooks is in a secluded and peaceful the ideal place to get away from it all. Each double room has its own en suite bathroom , a very large open plan dining living area with large windows to enjoy the views. You will be welcomed with a host who will endeavour to make your stay as pleasant as possible. A welcome basket is also supplied to greet you.

All rooms have Double beds which can be separated if needed. Each room has an en suite. Clean bedding, you will find all the beds made and a full set of towels hanging on the rail.
Coffee, tea, salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil, basic herbs and fresh growing herbs are there when you arrive in our Victorian styled kitchen. Plus a welcome basket of local goodies.
There is free Wi-Fi and TV available.
If you want to find a freezer full of “Waitrose ready meals”, let us know in advance, and we will cater for how many and we will put it on your bill.
We leave six bottles of wine at £10 per bottle or feel free to replace them.
Also a complementary bottle of champagne.

We have a fantastic outside BBQ place with wood for your first fire. Fishing exclusive use of half a mile of bank of the Rother shared use of half a mile of one bank of the Arun. Good runs, big difficult fish.
Walking. Endless excellent walks.
Wild Water. Use the river, it is not allowed to extreme sport the weir. The river is very fast flowing in spate and extremely dangerous. It is deep; some people have chosen to swim entirely at their own risk in the slower summer months.
Bird watching. The House overlooks a registered wading bird breeding area. Hide use is free. Two RSPB reserves and Wildlife

The South East England / Sussex region
Golf. There are three nearby golf courses to spend the morning at, West Sussex Golf course is a 10 minute drive away, Pulborough Golf course, a 15 minute drive or why not experience golf at Goodwood House which is a 25 minute drive.
Racing. For a day at the races, Goodwood racecourse is a 25 minute drive, Fontwell 15 minutes or a 35 minute drive to Brighton racecourse.
Polo. Kerry Packer is a 35 minute drive or there’s the option of Cowdry Park Midhurst which is a 25 minute drive.
Roman, things to see. Get involved, see Fishbourne Palace, Bignor Villa or the walled city of Chichester.
Iron Age, things to see. Experience the fortification at Pulborough, known as Park Mound, a very pleasant fifteen minute walk. Spot the Camel Hump at Rackham, then the war dyke at Houghton. Also the Trundle fort at Goodwood.
The Pulborough / Hardham area
Goodwood has three major events for your diary this year; Festival of Speed, the largest motoring garden party in the world – 1st, 2nd, 3rd of July 2011. Vintage at Goodwood, music and fashion led celebration of creative British cool from the 40’s, 50’s etc through till this day – 13th, 14th, 15th August Goodwood Revival, 16th – 18th September 2011.
Enjoy Arundel Arts Festival 19th-29th August 2011 or Arundel Gallery Trail 20th-29th August.
Both Parham House and Gardens, open until October 2011 and Petworth House, open all year are breathtaking and well worth a look.Also at Petworth House, see a large collection of Turners or visit the long gallery at Petworth still for a life memorable walk.
For Ballet and Contemporary Dance, visit Worthing or Chichester Theatre.
Immerse yourself with Cricket at Arundel Park, come and see the touring sides play against the Dukes team, fall in love, buy a house and never leave the area again.
