The villa was refurbished in 2010,it is on three levels:

On the main floor are: compact kitchenette, living room, one bathroom, one double bedroom, large balcony suitable for private sunbathing and gazing towards the sea on the horizon.

On the upper level there are three bedrooms (one double bed, one with two single beds and another with a small double bed) one bathroom(with shower) and balcony with lovely sea view on the horizon.

On the groundfloor with separate access areas, the owners visit villa at weekends.

The villa contains a private pool with sun loungers, a large outside BBQ and its own authentic pizza oven.

However the real draw of the area are the Caribbean-like beaches that are scattered everywhere along this picturesque coast. Perfect for young children the beaches include Chia (voted in the Daily Telegraph May 2008 as one of the world's Best Beaches), Teurredda, Nora, Santa Margharita di Pula.

As with many places in Italy the food and wine is also fresh and tasty - but unlike other areas the prices are significantly cheaper. Fresh fruit is available from the road sides throughout the year with peaches and figs particularly popular in the summer months. Local red wine is very good and available to buy by the litre for €1.5

Finally for those with young children there is a water park (www.blufan.it) less than 10mins drive away, while the ancient capital city of Cagliari is a 25min drive

The Sardinia region

Sardinia is a relatively well kept secret amongst British holiday makers. So, although it has beaches to rival any in the Mediterranean there are hardly any British holiday makers in the area.

Our villa is located in the south west of the island, roughly 25min drive from the capital city and airport of Cagliari.

We are located at the foothills of the mountains yet only 10mins by car from beaches and historical Roman sites. The views from the villa really are spectacular - both during the daytime and the evening when the stars are very bright.

The season runs from April through to October - although we've been there outside these months and it was still considerably warmer than northern Europe. Christmas day last year saw temperatures of 20degrees! In July and August expect 30-33degrees each day.

Pula Sardinia

Pula is a pretty town just a short ride away. It has the classic church in the town square and a piazza that often has live music in the summer months. There are a handful of great restaurants each serving the catch of the day - sea bass, orata and lobster are common on menus. Despite being a small town there are at least 4 gelaterias selling home-made ice cream (1Euro a scoop)

The coastline from Pula heading west is stunning with large beaches and smaller inlets to be found dotted everywhere. All the beaches have white sand and crystal clear sea......they are ideal for children.

For the more adventurous there are lots and lots of walking tours/hikes in the mountains to the north of our villa and for those keen on golf, Is Molas is 15min away (a very well known course that has held the Italian Open). Other activities such as horse riding, sailing, kite surfing and kayaking are available within a short ride.

"Great sized villa with wonderful views and hosts"

We travelled to Sardinia for the wedding of some friends in Cagliari and decided to stay out of the city and travel in when required. Throughout the booking process I was in contact with the owner Eury who was prompt with her response and always helpful.

When we arrived we followed the owners instructions to get there which were accurate and easy to follow. We were greeted by the owners on arrival and shown the villa inside and out.

Inside the villa is simply furnished but functional, there is plenty of room. There is a wonderful terrace overlooking the coast which make dining extra special.

Outside the pool is clean and tidy, Diego cleaned the pool once whilst we were there which kept the pool water clear. There is also a table tennis, volleyball net and a basketball net. Plenty to keep you entertained. There is also a BBQ and Pizza Oven to use if you wish.

We made pizza's with the owners one night which was excellent.

Getting around would have to be by car, the local town with a supermarket is 5-10 mins away. The whole coast line is scattered with lovely beaches. The local town also featured some lovely restaurants that Eury would be able to recommend.

All in all a great place to relax and get away, would definitely consider returning.

We always lovely to hear our guest enjoy
. We happy they were satisfied, and that they appreciated all the comforts and the details of the house, and the garden and the swimming pool. We've done our best to prepare all for them : we think that arriving to a holiday house and find, after a long journey ,ospitality, clean ,order. would please everyone
We thanks the big and nice family and their lovely and sweet baby , to have chosen our house and to have been our guests.it was very nice meet they and make pizza togheter .
Their opinion and review is the best gift we could expect from them, because reading these reviews we have the possibility to make the house better and better. We hope that they will be our guests again.
Thanks again and goodbye …….
And try to do Give me five with the lovely little baby

"Fantastic holiday villa!"

I actually stayed here in 2009 ( no option for that on drop down menu) with friends before the top floor was renovated. Even before then it was a fabulous, really affordable villa. Very peaceful , beautiful surroundings and the garden and pool (and area) were great.Furnishings are simple but perfectably suitable and all you really need. You spend most of your time, out and about in the area, by the pool or relaxing on the patio.Loved the pizza oven and one thing that really made my holiday and my friends was the fantastic welcome we were given by the owners, Diego annd Euri . They visit on the weekends but you would hardly know that they were there. One one evening they cooked us dinner using the outdoor pizza oven (which is available for renters to use...and we did..fab) and we all shared a fantastic evening together. We talked and laughed late into the night.Excellent holiday :). Lovely people.
ps:One thing worth mentioning when using your car is that the approach to the villa of the main road is a single gravel track for a short bit, and in places pretty steep.Just worth knowing when arriving at night.

I thank to my young and nice guests everything was ok with them and I hope them to be my guests again in the future
It's always lovely to hear that people enjoy the villa and area as much as we do.
I'm glad they were satisfied, and that they appreciated all the areas and the details of the house and the garden and the pool.
Again, thanks to my guests for their pleasant and sincere review
