This quiet holiday home is located in a village with a small church, marina and a black sandy beach. The kitchen is fully equipped and leading from the lounge there is a spacious sunny terrace where you can enjoy dining al fresco or just watch the amazing sunsets. Alternatively, only a short walk away from this tree lined cul de sac, there is an excellent variety of restaurants and shops. A haven for winter sun worshippers or for those who simply wish to unwind and relax.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife is the largest of the seven Canary Islands and its variety of climates has resulted in a diversity of landscapes from extensive pine forests to the Acantilados de Los Gigantes (Cliffs of the Giants) with its vertical precipices. Tenerife is known internationally as the "Island of Eternal Spring" . The island enjoys a warm, all year round climate with an average of 20° - 22°C in the winter and 26° - 28°C in the summer and sunshine all year round.

Spectacular giant cliffs (Acantilados de Los Gigantes) give this charming tranquil resort its name. There are a range of bars and restaurants, a marina and a small sandy beach. Various water sport activities are available which include water ski, jet ski, parascending and big game fishing. There is also a good selection of boat excursions to see the several resident schools of dolphins and whales. With its excellent year round climate, scuba diving is also available. Los Gigantes has a public square (plaza) by the church where the majority of public events take place. The largest festival is the carnival (the week after Ash Wednesday) when the village is transformed and becomes a lively place in which you can enjoy the colourful parades and celebrations.

How to get there

*Many major airlines fly to Tenerife (Monarch, Thomson etc). The budget airlines are Ryan Air (www.ryanair.com) and Easy jet (www.easyjet.com).

*From the southern airport, the apartment is only 43 kms (approx 45 minutes away). We can recommend Auto Reisen (www.autoreisen.es) for some excellent car hire deals.

*Taxis are also easily available just outside the airport terminal and the price should be approximately 45 euros.
*We can also arrange transport to collect you at the airport. Don't hesitate to enquire about the special rates.
