Balcon de Los Gigantes is located just two minutes' walk from the stunning rugged coastline of Puerto Santiago, being walking distance, and in between the cliffs that dominate the picturesque harbour of Los Gigantes and the famous black sand beach (blue flag for cleanliness) of Playa de la Arena.

Quiet and peaceful, this modern apartment has easy access to all amenities, bars and excellent Canarian and English restaurants. We find it a very friendly environment to holiday in.

The apartment benefits from a large communal pool, with a separate children's pool, jacuzzi and sunbeds.
Leading from the living room and bedroom is a spacious balcony with pool view, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco one of few which enjoys a sunny south facing aspect from midday to sunset.

With one twin bedroom, the apartment is ideal for couples or use of the double sofa bed with small children, plus ample space for an additional cot, makes it a perfect destination for all to enjoy.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife is a terrific volcanic island with the impressive mount Teide (3.718 m.) rises up over the Caldera de Las Cañadas, the highest point of the island.
The coast is beautiful. With regular sea trips in search of pilot whales and dolphins.
Giant´s Cliffs, with more than 500 mts. of vertical cliff face, are one of the natural wonders on the western part of the island.
A fantastic natural setting, surrounded by black sand beaches Playa de Los Guios or the nearby Playa de La Arena, one of the most attractive cove on the island. There are white sand beaches too!
An extraordinary place with an ideally stable climate with temperatures ranging between 20º and 25º C in WINTER, and between 25º and 30º in SUMMER.
Animals and exotic plants parks like "Loro Park" , "Parque de las Aguilas",...

The Puerto Santiago / Los Gigantes area

The famous Los Gigantes cliffs next to a black sand beach PLAYA DE LOS GUIOS is equipped with facilities for sunbathers, and next to the impressive marina which has all kinds of boats. There are regular boat trips in both fast speed boat and a more relaxing bigger boat experience. We personally love the fast boat as it’s a real fun experience in itself, our kids love it and of course you get to see the dolphins and the whales! Also available are other sea trips including fishing & diving.

Fantastic walking there are a broad range of tracks in the district, some of which set out from the coast, climbing up into the foothills and the mountains. Organised tours to Mount Teide available plus for the children or those young at heart the water park!

Other beaches include PLAYA DE LA ARENA, slightly larger dark sand beach awarded a European blue flag for 19 consecutive years.

GOLF something for the men (in my case)! There are several golf courses in the area 15 minutes driving. Abama to note.

“Fabulous Apartment and Location” I travelled with my teenage daughter and her friend and found the apartment and pool to be just what we needed. Beautifully clean and spacious. The girls had internet connection in the book room a must for teens these days!! There are lots of very good bars and restaurants within strolling distance where you can party as long as you wish. A great place for a chilled holiday with both teens and tots alike and I have already recommended to friends for next year.
