Luxury air-conditioned one bed apartment Modern attractive apartment in an upmarket gated complex in an elevated position overlooking the sea, on a quiet cul-de-sac adjacent to the town centre. With full air-conditioning, large heated swimming pool and separate children's pool. The apartment has a large lounge with dining area and seating for four people leading to a large terrace with sea and pool views and equipped with table and chairs and sun loungers. There is a fully fitted kitchen which has full size oven, ceramic hob. Large fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric steamer, juicer and washing machine, There is an ironing board with iron. Satellite TV with British channels a DVD player with a good selection of DVDs and a CD/ radio/tape player. The bathroom has a full size bath with shower and a hairdryer is also provided. The bedroom has twin beds, fitted wardrobes with safe inside, Dressing Table and Drawers and door leading to the Balcony which has Sun Blinds for your convenience and comfort when the sun gets too much.

The Tenerife region
Public transport is excellant. A few Kilometers down the coast are the local fishing towns of Alcala and San Juan. Travelling North into the mountains you can visit Santiago del Teide the regional capitol. Further along is the remote village of Masca. Breathtaking! Along the Northern coast Garachico, Icod and Puerto del la Cruz.and La Oratava are well worth a visit. The Scenery and vegetation are breathtaking. The Volcanic peak of Mount Teide, the highest mountain in Spain is a must for all visiters. Loro Park, Jungle Park, Aqua park and Camel Safari are all within one hours drive. Ferry trips to other islands in the canaries can be taken.
Puerto Santiago / Los Gigantes area
The villages of Los Gigantes and Puerto Santiago have a multitude of fine restaurants, many offering fresh meat, seafood and canarian speciality dishes. The supermarkets are but a stones through away offering almost anything you could wish to eat and drink. Banks and shops are plentyful as are the many bars which offer entertainment in the evenings. At the Marina there is a Diving and Sailing Schooland Paragliding. You can take boat trips to the famous Gigantes Cliffs and see the Dolphins and Whales that frequent the area. Go to the beach a gentle stroll down the hill and enjoy the black volcanic sand. Walk the coastal footpaths and see the unusual rock formations. Local Fiesta's take place throught the year. I have stayed in this apartment two years running for Christmas and New Year and I would give it ten out of ten for location, comfort and quiet relaxation with superb security in the form of a full perimeter fence accessible by locked gates where only the guests have keys. The whole place is cleaned every day by a swarm of busy pleasant cleaners for whom nothing is a bother to satisfy your requests. The Apartment is privately owned by a lovely and very genuine Yorkshire lady called Jan who is very flexible with dates and has a wealth of knowledge of the island and travel within. All my requirements and queries were dealt with promptly via e mail or phone and she makes sure everything is spic and span for your arrival. The views from the apartment balcony are a pleasure to behold especially the sunsets and the decor/lighting give it a very homely feel for the odd night in.
For a hassle free comfortable and pleasant holiday Los Gigantes has a little bit of everything and Mrs Holroyd's property is great place to stay, a real home from home, well stocked in the kitchen with plenty of movies and books for a night in, you can even order take aways delivered to reception who will call you to collect. The apartment is well equipped and clean. It's good it has a stereo and DVD player and some simple board games for quite nights in. The kitchen has everything you could possibly want whilst self catering. The balcony is a good size with some privacy. The apartment has a good location within the complex and great views of the sea, the cliffs, the surrounding area and the 2 swimming pools.. It's a very clean complex which is relaxed and peaceful and two swimming pools are always clean and never overly busy which is great. The shops, restaurants and local bus stops are all within easy reach.
I would recommend my friends to come and stay at this apartment.

The apartment is very well equipped with everything you could possibly want. It is also very comfortable and very clean. It has a large balcony with superb views looking down to the pool and out to the ocean. The location is ideal for walks, sightseeing and eating out with lots of excellent restaurants nearby to choose from. The owner provides a very informative and helpful pack of information about the El Marques Palace, the surrounding district and local amenities all of which helps your holiday begin from the moment you arrive.
