Home description
This is a well furnished and equipped apartment in a modern complex ideally suited for couples and families. It is close to all the local amenities. There is a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. There is a large swimming pool area with plenty of sunbathing space. There is a large very well stocked supermarket by the entrance to the complex with an excellent range of British brand name products. The apartment is on the 4th floor accessed by a lift. There is a well equipped open plan kitchen, which also has a washing machine. The lounge dining area has a double sized sofa bed as well as British TV, a DVD, a video and a hi fi system. The bedroom has a double bed and a fitted wardrobe. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.

The Tenerife region
Tenerife is the largest and most popular of the Canary Islands. The island has the most wonderful year-round climate, it is known as "the island of eternal spring" and only a 4 hour flight from the UK. Tenerife is an island of diversity, lush tropical scenery in the north, dramatic coastline on the west continuing to the sun soaked beaches in the south and to the snow capped peak of Mount Tiede.
Puerto Santiago area
Playa de Santiago/Los Gigantes area has a peaceful, laid back atmosphere. As it once was a quiet fishing village it still holds all its Canarian charm, with a mix of local and international population We have a super selection of restaurants where you will find excellent Canarian food available in the traditional restaurants, with tapas bars and cafes along with a good variety of international restaurants all this within walking distance.
Our apartment is in a very good location as there is a very good supermarket opposite which sells local delicacies whilst at the same time catering to the English and Continental tastes, with hot bread through the day from early morning. The sea front and plaza is only yards away, and the beautiful beach (consistantly awarded the European blue flag for clean and well run beaches - with toilets showers and lifeguards) only takes five minutes to walk along the promenade There are many local events held here throughout the year, such as firework displays, traditional and holiday fiestas, with the main fiesta in July quite an experience with many attractions for all ages culminating in a fantastic firework display. The area has lovely walks along the coast taking in beautiful scenery and sea air with the amazing cliffs and marina below.
There are a variety of activities including boat excursions to see whales and dolphins, a glass bottomed boat, a large marina and water sports including scuba diving, there is an excellent diving school with PADY & BSAC qualified instructors for beginners or experienced divers only 3 minutes walk away from the complex.
How to get there
You can fly to Tenerife South from most UK airports. Puerto Santiago is about 45mins drive from the Southern airport. There are taxis available or a bus service. Please ask the owner for details.
