About the home

RECENTLY RENOVATED. Superb one bedroom apartment. Sleeps 4, in a much sought-after location in the heart of the village, the apartment overlooks the communal pool and garden with stunning views to the sea and the cliffs. There is also a small pool set in its own garden, located at one end of the complex. Both pools are for the exclusive use of residents and clients staying in the complex. The property is close to shops, banks, bars and restaurants and the beach and marina are only 3 minutes stroll away. The apartment has just been renovated and completely re-equipped to a high standard as follows:-
BEDROOM: new ceiling fan, new bedspreads, new curtains, new furnishings, new lights
BATHROOM: re-tiled and decorated, with new bathroom suite fitted. Walk-in shower (no bath)
KITCHEN: new radiant heat ceramic hob, new microwave, new kettle, new toaster, new coffee maker, new crockery, new cutlery, new kitchen utensils.
LOUNGE: new ceiling fan, new furnishings (sofa-bed, armchairs, coffee table, side tables, lights), new LCD TV, new dvd / hi-fi / mp3 player. There is also a small safe for use by the occupants.
BALCONY: new sun loungers and patio furniture.

The bedroom contains two single beds and has fitted wardrobes, dressing table, bedside tables, lights and ceiling fan.
Bathroom:
The bathroom has a washbasin, shower cubicle with electric shower, and toilet. It is newly tiled throughout.
Kitchen/Lounge:
American style kitchen area with breakfast bar. Fitted with all modern appliances as follows. Fridge-freezer, washing machine, ceramic radiant-heat hob, oven, extractor hood, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee-maker, iron and ironing board.

Comfortable lounge area with double bed settee and easy chairs. Equipped with ceiling fan. LCD TV, DVD and Radio/CD/MP3 player. There is also a small safe for use by the occupants. Please note however, that the owners of the apartment will not be responsible for any personal belongings of the occupants.

Large balcony with dining table, chairs and sun-loungers. There is also a clothes dryer for beach towels etc. The balcony directly overlooks the large open air swimming pool and garden and offers spectacular views to the sea and the 1600ft high cliffs.... views to die for!

The Tenerife region

Tenerife is a 4hr flight from the UK. With year round sunshine and average temperatures of 23 degrees C, it makes an ideal location for a break anytime of the year. Tenerife has something for everyone - from spectacular mountain scenery to great beaches, from hill walking to water sports. Clubs, bars and international cuisine are all readily available.

The Puerto Santiago / Los Gigantes area

Los Gigantes is dominated by spectacular 1,600 ft. high cliffs which drop sheer into the sea. This is a well established resort situated on the picturesque north-west coast of the island and has an ideal local climate being half way between the temperate north and the arid south. The village has a special charm, with an up-market feel, having a lively buzz yet without being noisy. There are no clubs in the village but there is plenty of life to be found in the local bars and restaurants and if you do fancy going clubbing, there are clubs in the neighbouring Puerto de Santiago - only a short (and cheap) taxi ride away.
The main residential area of the resort is on a hill behind the village ~ not for the faint-hearted ~ one reason why this apartment in its central location is so popular.

Cheap flights are available to either Tenerife North or Tenerife South airports from most regional UK airports. Buses do run from Tenerife South Airport to Los Gigantes (change at Los Cristianos). Airport to resort transfers can be booked with www.elmarbookings.com or www.resorthoppa.com. The fare should be no more than 20 euros. Car hire is available from www.cicar.com

Hi Jean, just to let you know we had a lovely holiday and we loved 'sunny ole' couldn't have wished for a nicer apartment. We had marvellous weather as well. We went on a boat trip and had a glimpse of some dolphins. Have recommended it to my daughter and son in law.

Dear Jean, we have just got back from Tenerife, and your deposit cheque arrived today. We loved your apartment. As the weather was quite changeable for the first few days of our holiday we spent quite a lot of time indoors, and were very happy doing so. It was great having a washing machine and iron/ironing board - we travelled on Ryan air, so had limited clothes to meet the 15kg limit. Your welcome leaflet was great, you answered all possible questions. We had a hire car and managed to get parked in the road outside each day with no difficulties. We also really enjoyed Los Gigantes, and when we visit again, will check if your apartment is free first. All in all we had a great time.

Hi Jean, the apartment was lovely and in a very good position for everything. We had a lovely relaxing holiday. I enjoy swimming and had the pool to myself most days. I could see Frank on the balcony, so could keep an eye in him. Thank you for letting us use your lovely apartment. I would love to come back. I am thinking of booking another week there with my mother who is in her 80s, but quite sprightly.

Hi Jean, your apartment is a credit to you all, very comfortable and pleasant to stay in, I should know as I spent most of my time in it! I took ill on the Thursday and didn't leave the apartment until Monday afternoon and then I had to force myself out! Good job you have a fantastic balcony as Ray spent most of his time sunbathing there!
