Our apartment is tastefully furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen. If a night out is what you desire, the complex is within walking distance to a variety of amenities, including delightful restaurants and plenty of shopping. Los Gigantes, with its warm climate and stunning scenery has a nice and relaxing feel that is second to none. The Tenerife region
The dramatically beautiful landscape of Tenerife and its reliably warm climate are just two of the reasons for its popularity as a holiday destination. It is the largest of all the Canary Islands, situated in the Atlantic Ocean a little way off the Northern coast of Africa. Volcanic activity has shaped the landscape into varied forms, with spectcular rock formations contrasting well with the sub-tropical vegetation. There is so much to do and see here: whale and dolphin trips are a great activity option, and if you want more than relaxing on the beach there is a world championship Golf course at Adeje some 20 minutes drive from the apartment, and in 2006 a new course will be opening just 10 mins drive away.
And what is the weather like? Tenerife is always known for its year round climate.
Guided walking holidays are also available all over the island, and are an interesting way to explore.
Great bus service from Los Gigantes at reasonables rates to travel if you so wish.

The villages of Los Gigantes and Puerto Santiago have a multitude of fine restaurants, many offering fresh seafood and meat dishes. There are a number of supermarkets and banks. At the marina there is a diving and sailing school, as well as boat trips to see the famous dolphins and sea life.
What to do when you get there besides sunning yourself by the pool or on the balcony, Go to the beach a gentle stroll down the hill and enjoy the black volcanic sand. See the boats in the marina adjacent to the beach. Enjoy a meal in the cafes or restaurants overlooking the marina or beaches, perhaps the local fresh fish. Go to Loro Parque and see the whales perform and dolphins and seals and sealions http://www.loroparque.com/menuingl.html, go to water park, get a boat to La Gomera one day http://www.abcanarias.com/La_Gomera/Tourism1.html.
All local amenities are within 10 minutes walking distance of the apartment. Local shops and restaurants are within 3 minutes walk. Food and wine can be purchased from the 2006 opened local supermarket a few yards down the road behind the complex. A family run restaurant on the way down to Puerto de Santiago is especially good.

How to get there
The Islands main airport (Tenerife South) is approximately 45 mins by car to El Marques Palace. Car hire not essential. Transport to/from airport can be booked at reasonable prices with lcal minibus service, details available when booking.
