The Montecarlo duplex apartments are ideally situated on flat level close to the centre of Puerto Rico, only 100 metres away and only 400 metres walk to the beach.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms upstairs with a private bathroom and on the ground floor there is a kitchenette, lounge with a sofa bed, WC and a private sunny terrace with chairs and tables.
The apartment complex also have a snack pool bar serving snacks all day long and the staff are very friendly at reception.

The Gran Canaria region

Puerto Rico and Playa Del Ingles are the main tourist areas and the entertainment hotspots are all centred around the Commercial Centres. There are quieter resorts, which offer a more relaxed ambience and attractions for both singles, families and couples.
Away from the tourist area you can embrace yourself in the Canaria culture and visit the cathedral at Las Palmas, the rum distillery at Arucas or even the most sacred spot of the island, Teror. Take a look at the barren ruggardness the island of Gran Canaria has and I can gurantee you won´t be disappointed
Puerto Rico Resort area
The resort of Puerto Rico is set in a valley with all the hotels and apartments built into the mountain side. The resort itself is popular with both the British and Scandanavians.
It hosts three Commercial Centres in which you will find a vast array of shops, bars and restaurants. The main commercial centre is in the heart of the valley and this is where the main activity takes place. From Piano Bars to Discos and a great variety of restaurants to cater for all tastes.
There are a selection of supermarkets around the centre which will provide you with all your basic needs.
Gran Canaria being a Duty Free island, you can take advantage of the cheaper perfume, aftershave, cigarettes and spirits. The Commercial Centre has lots of Duty Free shops for you to purchase your gifts from.
Down at Puerto Rico beach you can take part in watersports or just have a spot of lunch at one of the beach restaurants behind the beach. Sunbeds and Umberellas are for hire down there too.
Along the coastline you can take a stroll from Puerto Rico to Amadores Beach and watch the sunset over Tenerife. This is for the more romantic of you.
Heading further along you will find the quaint fishing village of Puerto Mogan and it´s market on a Friday.
