About the home

Family run spacious apartment located in a quiet cul-de-sac. One of 17 privately owned apartments in a Spanish-style development with its own swimming pool. Stunning views of the sea, mountains and marinas. Two private sun terraces with canopy, loungers, large table and chairs. Sandy beach, shops and restaurants all within a 10 minute walk.

It is an Ideal location to explore the attractive valley of Puerto Rico, with its fantastic sunshine record. Pretty marinas offer excellent water sport facilities, deep sea fishing, whale and dolphin watching and trips round the island. Mini golf, flood-lit tennis courts, bowling alley and water park are all within a 10 minute walk.

Two private terraces, one with large table and 6 chairs, other with sun loungers. Good size swimming pool shared with other apartments in complex. (As it is residential the pool is usually very quiet.)

Price for the apartment is £350 for 2 people per week, £500 for 4 people per week and £650 for 6 people per week.

A £100 deposit is required at time of booking and the remainder 6 weeks before departure.

The Gran Canaria region

Gran Canaria is a Spanish island off the North West coast of Africa and has one of the best climates in the world. Day time temperatures rarely fall below 75 degrees fahrenheit. It’s the most diverse of all the Canary Islands; the wildly contrasting scenery makes the island an almost mini-continent, with wild deserts, pretty valleys, tropical vegetation and beautiful sandy beaches.

The Puerto Rico Resort area

An attractive valley with a fantastic sunshine record. Puerto Rico is an old village which has developed into a popular resort. Attractive villas and apartments cover both sides of a valley and enjoy spectacular views over
the two marinas and golden beach.

Cafes and bars line the traffic free promenade. A contoured heated swimming pool in tropical gardens leads to the beach. In the centre you will find a superb range of duty-free shops, bars, restaurants and night
time entertainment. Medical centre in Puerto Rico and Internet access across the road at Marcaibo Hotel.

Puerto Rico is renowned for watersports; sailing, scuba diving, para scending, deep sea fishing, marlin, tuna, shark. Boat trips to see the whales and dolphins. A little way along the valley an Aqua Park, 2 excellent gyms, tennis and squash. There are 7 golf courses on the island. Nearest to the apartment is Tauro, an 18-hole championship course plus another 9-holes. Two other courses are within a 20-minute drive.

Transport can be arranged if required. Taxis are available at the airport. Express bus route 91 across the road - 5 Euros, 06.30 to 20.30 every day.

Flight time from Gatwick is approximately 4 hours. Transfer from airport to the apartment is approximately 40 minutes.

Taxis available 24 hours a day outside airport; but if required transport can be arranged to and from the airport.

Hire cars booked in the UK or on arrival can be collected and returned to the airport.

Once in Puerto Rico, taxis can be hailed from virtually anywhere and are inexpensive. A car is not essential and public transport is frequent and reliable. Cars can be hired for any number of days.
