The Gran Canaria region
Gran Canaria is called ''a continent in minature'' for the extremes in landscape and climate that may be found here. Everything from the wild west canyons, to idyllic pine forests, to sahara like dunes. You may even see a dusting of snow on the Pico de las Nieves, but the south of the island will still be wallowing in sun! Gran Canaria ia also the most well endowed of the islands for culture and history. In Las Palmas it has the most dynamic city of the Canary Islands, Maspalomas is one of the largest resort complexes in Europe and the inland scenery is grand beyond comparison. Puerto Rico is the "Port of the Rich", with its beautiful beach and fabulous harbours. The island beaches are the most beautiful, ranging from the sand dunes of Maspalomas to the crushed sea shells of Amadores. Take a trip to "Little Venice" the port of Mogan, where you will find an original fishing village that has maintained its quaint beauty and array of bourganvillea that is spectacular. With its abundance of variety there is something for everyone, history, culture, beaches, nightlife, good food, relaxation and year round sunshine!
Puerto Rico Resort area
Puerto Rico is a beautiful little town very popular for repeat guests who just love to come back year after year. With its beautiful harbours, beach and commercial centre all within walking distance it is self contained for a fabulous sunshine break. As one of the hottest destinations in Gran Canaria, having all the sun and none of the trade winds you can top up your tan on any of the beaches or the coastline that stetches round to Amadores Beach, a lovely coastal walk away. The main commercial centre has many fabulous bars and restaurants to enjoy an evening meal, or you can relax and watch the sunset in the harbours. With its own Waterpark and a number of attractions locally there is something to keep everyone busy!!

Further details indoors: The apartment has been recently refurbished to a high standard making it a cut above the rest. With a spacious terrace leading from both the living area and the bedroom, comfortable sofa and sea views, it makes for an ideal home away from home in which to relax and enjoy the tropical climates of Gran Canaria. In the bedroom there is a double bed and plenty of closet space with a further double sofa bed in the living area. The kitchen area is fully equipped with a four ring hob, kettle, toaster, fridge and all utensils. The living area has a TV, DVD, CD player and dining room table and 4 chairs, enabling you to choose to dine indoors or out. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and also houses the washing machine.
