The penthouse apartment is located in a quiet area between the quaint traditional town of Vera and the fishing port of Garrucha.The beach is a 20 minute walk away and is part of 7km of glorious Mediterranean seafront. It is a short drive to the very lively Mojacar which boasts restaurants, bars and night-life. It is also within easy reach of the local amenities and local markets.

The apartment is on a gated complex with both indoor and outdoor pools. A separate children's pool, play area and a paddle tennis court are also within the manicured gardens.It benefits from 2 bedrooms(1double, 1 twin) living area with Sat TV, fully fitted kitchen and an extensive sun terrace for both eating alfresco and chill out time.

The Costa de Almeria region

The Costa de Almeria is situated between the Costa del Sol and Costa Blanca on the southern coast of mainland Spain. It is the perfect beach holiday destination with long blue flag sandy beaches lining the rugged and varied coastline. With the most sunshine in Spain, this region is perfect for all-year-round holidays.

There is plenty of excellent resort centres, such as Vera Playa, Almerimar, Mojacar, and Roquetas de Mar all dotted along the seafront. Almeria is just a few short hours flight from the UK and is serviced by many UK airports. The Costa de Almeria has the most sunniest and dry climate in Spain, with long hot summers and warm winters, and very little rainfall. Evenings are also fine in the peak months and during the off-peak summer months, but can still expect great sunbathing in the hot daytime sunshine. Puerto Rey / Al Andalus area

In Puerto Rey, you will find swimming pools, tennis, volleyball and football courts, a very classy gymnasium, mini-golf where you can have drinks and ice-creams, bars and restaurants, beach-bars, a supermarket, a garden for children.
There are 5 fantastic Golf courses within a 20 minute drive including Val Delle Este(3 mins) and Desert Springs.
With great beach access, a good selection of shops (including the recently built Puerto Rey shopping centre“La Esquina de Puerto Rey” and sports facilties.

Between May and September there is a fantastic water park, including wave pools and many water rides. It is suitable for all ages and provides an enjoyable day out for all the family. (you can take your own picnic).

Airlines that fly to Almeria and Murcia include Easyjet, Monarch, BMIBaby, Ryanair.

Car hire companies from both airports include Carjet and Amigoautos.

A Taxi can be booked through ourselves (an English speaking contact in Vera).
