This is a small, peaceful complex with communal pool and only 5 minutes walk from the lovely sandy beach. Close by are shops and cafes. Just a 5 min walk from La Aldea is the recently opened Sports & Leisure centre with a state of the art gym, a golf driving range, paddle tennis & crazy golf. There is a cafe/bar with terrace, and a restaurant. The Aqua park is just five minutes drive from the complex.
For quiet times in the apartment, we provide English satellite TV, DVD, CD, Playstation and a selection of board games.

The Costa de Almeria region
The Almeria region is the southern most province of Spain boasting 322 days of sunshine a year. There is so much to see and do, from relaxing on one of the many beaches, walking in the foothills of the Sierra Cabrera or visiting one of the bustling daily markets and with 4 local golf courses in the Mojacar/Vera area, 2 more under construction, it offers the chance to play golf all year round.
Puerto Rey / La Aldea area
Puerto Rey is a small traditional Spanish urbanisation on the coast between the fishing village of Villaricos and the fishing town of Garrucha. Only a short distance along the coast road can be found the old Moorish settlement of Mojacar. It is situated near the town of Vera with it's lively weekly Saturday market. For those who really want to participate in the Spanish culture, Vera has it's own Bull Ring!
The complex is ideal for families or couples; no noisy nightclub close by. It is within easy walking distance of a beautiful sandy beach with safe bathing great for the kids. The apartment is located in communal gardens behind a small shopping centre, which has shops, a terrace bar, an Internet cafe/bar, and supermarket. Opposite the complex is a Sports & Leisure centre, which offers excellent facilities for adults and children. It has a gymnasium, which can be used on a casual daily rate basis. Golf driving range, Paddle tennis & Crazy golf.
All equipment can be hired at reasonable rates. Downstairs there is a Café/Bar where you can eat or just have a drink. You can either sit inside or out on the Terrace. The café/bar is open during the day & evening. Upstairs is a restaurant, which offers both lunchtime and evening dining. There are some bars and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment however just a short drive into Garrucha or Mojacar and you can sample just about any international cuisine.
A couple of minutes car journey will take you to the nearby Aqua Park and Go-Karting. Further afield you will find the Caves of Sorbas, Mini Hollywood & Cinema Studios at Tabernas. There are also some very good golf courses nearby including, Valle del Este, Marina De La Torre, Desert Springs & Cortijo Grande.
How to get there
The apartment is 15 minutes from the motorway with good links to Almeria (45 minutes), Murcia (1hs 30 minutes) and Alicante (1hr 45 minutes) airports. Full directions from any of these airports can be provided. Airport transfers available.

Great if you want to keep up with the Soaps or just catch up on the worldwide news. Other equipment includes DVD/VCR player, CD stereo with plenty of CDs, video's, DVDs, book's and board games to cater for all ages even the younger kids. Plus a Playstation 1 and games for the kids.
Bedroom one has a king size bed and en suite bathroom, bedroom two has 2 single beds. There are 2 bathrooms one en suite with bath, the other with shower. The kitchen and utility are a good size and well appointed. A travel cot is also available.
