About the home

Villa Son Mar has an indoor area of some 300 m2 and another 300m2 of South and sea-facing sun-drenched terraces with glorious views both day and night.

With its size, its views and its perfect location above the fashionable marina of Portals, which you reach with a 10 minute walk, Villa Son Mar can truly be described as "Mediterranean perfection".

On the street level top floor you will find a spacious studio, decorated and used as a private office with high speed internet access. You will also find a large sundeck with morning sun here. The second floor offers a large panoramic view living room with a fireplace, a generous and very modern kitchen, hall with guest toilet and a laundry room. A very large, fully-furnished terrace offers the perfect setting for entertaining guests. Below that on floor 3 is the residential floor. Villa Son Mar boasts 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on the residential floor. Two of these bedrooms have direct access to yet another terrace.

On floor 4 there is a further guestroom with en suite bathroom. Here, you will also find the fully equipped outdoor kitchen for that special BBQ lunch by the pool.

The residential area of Costa den Blanes with its guarded entrance road also offers security as well as privacy.

Further details

- The garden and pool is looked after weekly by the gardener
- The rental fee includes maid service 4 hours per day Monday to Friday, weekly pool and garden maintenance as well as electricity and water up to 100,- EUR per week. Should you use more, it will be deducted from your damage deposit.
- Phone is not included.
- Maid service is included in rental price

Conditions

- A damage deposit is required. Any inventory differences and/or damages will be deducted from your damage deposit before it is being transferred back to you.
- Once the rental fee and the damage deposit has been paid in full, the reserved period will be taken off the market. The full amount is payable immediately upon signing the rental agreement.

My parents just loved sitting on the balconies reading while my teenagers loved the freedom and the nightlife not only in Portals but Magaluf and Santa Ponsa (my sons has a friend who lives there) My husband and myself just loved lazing by the pool and going to the port to the fabulous restaurants.

We have a friend who has a boat in Portals so we chartered that for the day and had a great day.

At first we were not keen on the maid idea but Maria was amazing so friendly and helpful.

My family have already requested that we come back next year but for 3 weeks!

We had a great week in the fantastic villa “Son Mar”. We´ve rented several houses in Mallorca and this was the best house so far. Very well equipped and maintained and the view from balcony was stunning. Our only concern from the beginning was all the stairs (we have a 1 ½ year old son) but that was no problem and a little excersice could be good after some great wine and bbq….

The bedroom floor was great with good bathrooms as well. I think that the house is great situated with Palma 5 minutes drive away and really nice beaches around the corner. The wife of the house recommended the restaurant Las Terrrazas in Illetas (actually a beach club but don´t get frightened by that) and we can only agree that to almost sit on the beach and have a great dinner makes the holiday even better.

Villa Son Mar is perfectly located, only 20 minutes by taxi from the airport and 10 minutes by car from Carrefour supermarket. We found the house to be very tastefully furnished, decorated and nicely planned. Breakfasts and a few dinners where enjoyed on the lovely terrace together with the wonderful seaview. Within 15 minutes reach the stunning mountain roads towards Valldemossa, Deija and Soller.

We would love to come back !
