The location of Hibiscus Apartment provides something to suit all tastes, from the natural beauty of the sea and mountains to the family orientated bars and cafes in Puerto Pollensa. The sandy beach is just 300m away and provides a wide variety of water activities. The Tramuntana mountains have excellent routes for walking or cycling. The nearby world renowned reserve of Albufera provides some of the best birdwatching opportunities in Mallorca. For golfing enthusiasts there are two of the islands most beautiful courses a short drive away.
After a day of exploring the island, Hibiscus Apartment is just the place to come back to for some relaxation. The private roof terrace is something of a sun trap with views of the sea and mountains. The spacious living area with satellite TV and DVD player opens onto a large balcony which is the perfect place for al fresco dining.

The Mallorca/Majorca region
Northern Mallorca is full of natural beauty from the sandy beaches,coves and rugged coastline to the dramatic range of mountains that surround the area. The area is home to a number of charming towns and villages nestling among the hills, to numerous beautiful beaches and to ample opportunities for outdoor activities including golf, sailing, parasailing, snorkelling, birdwatching and walking. The rugged Tramuntana Sierra offers an excellent variety of routes along the coast or in the mountains.
Puerto Pollensa area
From Hibiscus Apartment a 10 minute stroll along the seafront brings you into Puerto Pollensa. This family friendly place still retains the charm of a small fishing village but now boasts a variety of bars, cafes and restaurants that cluster around the marina, town square and the 'Pinewalk'.
A short drive will bring you to a couple of other charming towns: nestling in the hills is Pollensa which has been described as 'the prettiest town in Mallorca'. The beautiful old walled town of Alcudia has its origins in Roman times and boasts a vivacious twice weekly market.
Hibiscus apartment is 300m away from a sandy beach, which as well as safe bathing offers an array of water sports. The nearby sailing club has a variety of boats and boards. Jet skis and parasailing as well as more relaxing pursuits such as snorkelling and boat trips are available.
The nearby reserve of Albufera provides some of the best birdwatching opportunities in the Mediterranean. Golfing enthusiasts can enjoy one of the most beautiful courses on the island: Alcanada (18 hole par 72) is only 5 miles away. This is a stunning course, designed by Trent -Jones and built on the shores of the Mediterranean. There is also the pretty Pollensa Golf club (9 hole par 70) close by. There is a full set of golf clubs in the apartment which are available to guests.
How to get there
Mallorca's airport at Palma is highly accessible from the UK. Puerto Pollensa is an easy drive of about 45 minutes from the airport. Whilst a car is not essential for this holiday, it would enable you to explore the island. Taxis can be pre-ordered or picked up at the airport.
