Finca | 3 bedrooms | sleeps 7
A picturesque and charming finca, Las Rosas is located at the foot of the hills between Puerto Pollenca and the sandy beaches of Cala San Vicente. The main property consists of two double bedrooms, both en-suite. There is a cozy atmosphere attached to the lounge and fitted kitchen, both overlooking the swimming pool and terraces. The guest house attached to the main house, comprises a double bedroom, bathroom and lounge all with garden and pool views. The pool is large and ornate, probably one of the grandest private pools on the island. As its name suggests, colourful and fragrant flowers adorn the entrance to Las Rosas. Adjacent to the pool and landscaped gardens you will find secluded lawns ideal for children and sunbathers. The sheltered barbecue area always enjoys the evening sun, making it a perfect spot for Al-fresco dining. The 'Mallorcan' tiled sun deck provides a spectacular setting overlooking the Mediterranean fruit trees and grape vines that adorn the private grounds. Despite its tranquil location within the countryside of Pollenca, it is just a 10 minute walk to the restaurants and beaches of Port de Pollenca. With the pool and gardens offering total privacy, this is the ideal location for a family holiday.

The Balearic Islands region
Puerto Pollenca has everything - wonderful scenery, beautiful sandy beaches and a laid back, friendly family atmosphere. The sheltered horseshoe shaped bay is set against the stunning backdrop of the Tramuntana mountain range. No wonder it remains a favourite with families and couple who return time and time again. Originally a fishing village, Puerto Pollenca retains the time old tradition of the evening paseo or stroll. On balmy evenings tourists and locals alike wander up and down between the marina where the yachts are moored and the stunning Pine Walk. Pollenca is an historic Mallorcan town steeped in history. You can spend hours meandering through the walled alleys looking at the wonderful architecture on display. The reward after is to sit in the main square enjoying some local tapas in one of the many chic restaurants. Visiting Pollenca on a Sunday is a must....the fresh food and vegetable market sees people travel from all over the island to sample these delicacies.
The Tramuntana mountain range in the north of the island provide a spectacular setting for the beautiful sandy coves that are found around Port de Pollenca. There are three sandy beaches at Cala Can Vicente. The crystal clear waters against the backdrop of rugged mountains is simply stunning. At Formentor you will find a pretty tree lined sandy cove with calm ,shallow crystal clear water. The views out to Cap Formentor are amazing and the drive there is worth it alone as it offers views to the other side of the bay. The sandy beach of Port de Pollenca is perfect for those looking to walk to a beach. Here you can enjoy all the water sport activities or take a break from the sun by relaxing in one of the beach front cafes.

"We are returning in The Summer!"
The villa is the best place to stay with young children. Despite it being early April our children made the most of the massive pool. A little chilly for the parents. If not in the pool the boys were … More

"What a great place for relaxing"
Great location in the north (calm, less touristic) and next to some nice hills for hiking and climbing. Large garden, refreshing pool and even a terrace on the rooftop. The housemaid even bought us so… More

"An idyllic location - relaxing for parents and an adventure for children,"
We stayed here in September and were blessed with gorgeous weather. The villa itself is in such a beautiful and peaceful setting, with mountains to one side, private gardens and a large pool and sun terrace, that we ended up staying at las Rosas more days than we ventured out! The children loved playing in the pool (one accompanied by an adult) and there are gardens with shade for afternoon quiet play also! We cooked in a few times - barbecues on the pool terrace and had some great evenings eating under the al fresco dining area - stunning.
We did venture to the nearby beaches - again great for young children as very calm waters and sandy bays - our favourites were formentor and cala San vincente (both a short drive away) and also a short walk to the family friendly bay of pollenca.
Huge choice of eateries around the resort. We preferred to walk into port pollenca in the evening as a 10 minute stroll - and some lovely restaurants in the main square and port (Tiberi and stay) If you don't mind driving (when children tired we did) into pollenca old town to the square there - it's a lovely setting and we visited two of our favourite restaurants; il giardino and cantonet).
It is a beautiful quiet location - with plenty to do in the town and nearby resorts for the children. We fell in love with las Rosas and are booking again for next year!

I stayed at Las Rosas with a group of friends and we had the best holiday ever! The villa is well equipped for a big group and we were pleased that there was an ensuite to every double bedroom.
The pool and gardens are HUGE! and really private for relaxing during the day and lovely bbq's of an evening. Should you want to eat out or visit a local beach, everything can be reached in a very short distance, but we were happy enough by the pool.
Thank you Daniel for all your help, you were very friendly and helpful when arranging our airport taxi.
We hope to stay again soon!

"Great Family Holiday"
This villa is the perfect family get away. Feels secluded yet only 10 minute walk to the shops, bars and beach. The villa is great for children, my 20 month nephew had lots to explore but there was always a feeling of safety.
Great BBQ facilities if you don't fancy going out with a lovely eating area.
This was our first extended family holiday and the villa is big enough so you are not on top of each other, with plenty of small outside areas if you fancied some privacy.
Would certainly recommend this villa - it was exactly what we were looking for and more importantly, hoped for.
