Situated on the second floor with a lift, this south facing apartment benefits from the sun all day. A table and 4 chairs on the balcony and a sun lounger mean you can enjoy the sun from there all day or take a dip in the pool or just take a very short stroll to the beach located just 50m away! The apartment has a capacity for up to 4 people and is fully equipped including satellite TV.

The Puerto Pollensa / Pine Walk Area area
Puerto Pollensa attracts both couples and families with its sandy beaches and backdrop of mountains with the famous 'Pine Walk' offering an array of cafes, restaurants and shops. The stunning bay with its scenic beauty of white sand and turquoise waters is the perfect place to relax, yet also has plenty of daytime activities to keep you busy should you wish with a wide variety of watersports.
At the centre of the resort, with the frontline pedestrianised, you will find plenty of restaurants to tempt you including Italian, Chinese, Indian, English, Spanish and Mediterranean, with some of the best fish restaurants in the area.
A market is held every Wednesday in Puerto Pollensa in the church square. Also, Pollensa old town is just 8km away with a variety of lovely restaurants,cafes and bars to be found with its own market held on Sundays in the church square offering fresh fruit and veg, to leather goods and lace. This old town with its narrow cobbled streets & pretty market square is a must. Frequent bus services and taxi services will take you from the port to the old town.

I can recommend the Bonanca 2A apartment in Peurto Pollensa. Two of us stayed for a week at the beginning of August 2012 and it suited our needs perfectly. My husband used this as a base for cycling and I was able to enjoy the beach (about 2 minutes away) and pool. The apartment is clean, a good size and in a good location at the quieter end of Pine Walk (just behind the Illa D'or Hotel). There is a small supermarket below which sells all the essentials and a good size Spar and bakery about 3 minutes walk away. The pool was a good size and was clean (although after a windy night there could be a fair few pine needles floating about). There are good toilet facilities at the pool and a nice bar/restaurant attached. My friends kids loved the pool and would join us here when not at the beach. The location is approx a 10-15 min stroll to the first of the main restaurants (excluding the Illa D'or), but walking along the sea front of an evening was never a chore. The Apartment itself was a perfect size for two of us. The only bedroom, at the back of the apartment, had just a double bed int he room, but also good sized built-in wardrobes and a lockable safe. Although this room did not have air-conditioning it did have a large fan. The bedroom is situated at the pool end but we did not find this a problem as noise levels were fairly low by the evening. The large living area was lovely, the bed pulled out into a comfortable large double and the air con in this room was great. The only negative of this room is the blinds let through too much light if you sleeping here. The bathroom was clean, modern and nicely tiled and had a small but really powerful shower. There was also extra wardrobe space outside the bathroom. The kitchen was tiny, but ample size for what we needed. Really lovely apartment and we are already looking forward to returning. |
