Puerto Pollensa / Pine Walk Area
Puerto Pollensa attracts both couples and families with its sandy beaches and backdrop of mountains with the famous 'Pine Walk' offering an array of cafes, restaurants and shops. The stunning bay with its scenic beauty of white sand and turquoise waters is the perfect place to relax, yet also has plenty of daytime activities to keep you busy should you wish with a wide variety of watersports.
At the centre of the resort, with the frontline pedestrianised, you will find plenty of restaurants to tempt you including Italian, Chinese, Indian, English, Spanish and Mediterranean, with some of the best fish restaurants in the area.
A market is held every Wednesday in Puerto Pollensa in the church square. Also, Pollensa old town is just 8km away with a variety of lovely restaurants,cafes and bars to be found with its own market held on Sundays in the church square offering fresh fruit and veg, to leather goods and lace. This old town with its narrow cobbled streets & pretty market square is a must. Frequent bus services and taxi services will take you from the port to the old town.

Palma Airport has a wide variety of car hire companies if you would like to make your own way to Puerto Pollensa and indeed explore the area on your holiday. The airport is situated at 60 km from Puerto Pollensa and is a 45 min drive with taxis available from the airport at around 65 Euros.
