The Mallorca/Majorca region
Puerto Pollensa is located in the beautiful bay of Pollensa, in the northeast of the island, surrounded by miles of beaches, mountains and forest. As well as all types of nautical sports it offers many worthwhile inland excursions, monumental sites (prehistoric, Roman, medieval), beautiful hiking trails and cycling trips. Mallorca enjoys mild, typically short winters, pleasant spring and autumn and hot summers with plenty of sunshine all year round.
Puerto Pollensa area
There are many places of interest to visit in the area, such as the inland town of Pollensa with its 365-step calvary, Roman bridge, Puig Monastery, charming pedestrian streets etc,; Alcudia the former Roman capital, with its Roman theatre and medieval town walls, as well as its beautiful, extensive beach; Formentor - with its spectacular views; Lluc Convent; caves of Campanet etc. There are also water parks, go-karting, mini-golf, horse riding etc...
How to get there
Fly to Palma International Airport, then by bus/taxi/car to Puerto Pollensa. Alternatively drive to Barcelona, then by ferry either to Palma port or Alcudia port.
