The Mallorca/Majorca region
Puerto Pollensa is located on the NorthEast coast of the island of Majorca, surrounded by miles of beaches, mountains and forests. As well as all types of nautical sports it offers many nearby worthwhile inland excursions, monumental sites, beautiful hiking and cycling trips. Nearby towns of interest are Pollensa (with its Roman bridge and 365-step Calvary), Alcudia (with Roman theatre, and medieval town walls), Formentor (with spectacular views from the lighthouse)., Cala San Vicente (many beautiful coves) etc...
