The Accommodation
The accommodation is all on one level with the main house having a large entrance hall giving access to the master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and doors to a private side terrace. In addition there are two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom to the rear of the building. The spacious lounge / dining room, with feature wood burner, has patio doors to the covered terrace. Entertainment is provided by a Satellite TV and a Stereo system. There is a large separate well equipped breakfast kitchen benefiting from all modern appliances. An impressive covered dining terrace, with barbecue, sink and units, overlooks the swimming pool and offers restful mountain views. Within the pool building there is also a twin bedroom and shower room making an ideal annex for older children. The villa is well equipped and furnished to a high standard throughout making idea for our most discerning clientele.

Outdoors
Outside, the large 10m x 5m swimming pool, which has roman steps, is set in a neat lawn with a paved sun bathing terrace at one end adjoining the separate pool building, which houses the large dedicated barbecue area. Sun beds, patio furniture and parasols are supplied. The villa has well maintained, mature gardens with numerous shrubs and plants. The country location with stunning mountain views offers excellent privacy in a tranquil and secluded setting.

We are pleased to present a selection of Puerto Pollensa villas to rent. Puerto Pollensa is, without any doubt, one of the most attractive municipalities of the island. It’s for some reason that it was one of the areas where tourism started, besides being a preferred destination of painters and artists since the beginning of this century.
From the scenic point of view, Pollensa is full of contrasts, and a quite big part of the so-called “Sierra de Tramontana” with its steep mountains and its deep valleys, which in many cases end in most beautiful and lonely bays, where the blue of the sea mixes with the grey of the limestone rocks and the brilliant green of the pine trees, is situated within its municipality. Here, the cultural and artistic life never stops. There are a lot of art galleries and beautiful handcraft shops. During nearly all the year one con enjoy a variety of musical events, among which the most famous ones are those that take place in the Santo Domingo Cloister.
The cosmopolitan character is due to the fact that a lot of Europeans have their holiday villa in Puerto Pollensa, and many live permanently in the area. The municipality of Pollensa comprises, apart from the old town, two further townships, the PORT OF POLLENSA and CALA SANT VICENÇ, two coastal towns with a well-defined and different personality, due to the fact that they are situated in two settings with completely different geographical and scenic characteristics.
Port de Pollensa is famous since many years for its outstanding beauty and its scenic variety, being the deepest and most closed bay of Mallorca. In this bay you’ll find enclaves as exclusive as Formentor.
Pollença has the best climate for nature lovers, for playing golf, nautical sports and excursions . The best hikes to make in the North Mallorca are trips to the Puig de María, the Castell del Rei, Vall de Ternelles and “La Atalaia de Albercutx”. Also the Formentor Peninsula offers some lovely excursions, to the mountains Na Blanca and En Fumat for Example.
Or visit one of the isolated bays, such as Cala Boquer, Cala Sant Vicenç or Cala Castell, these you can also find on the peninsular of Formentor.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to let you know what a wonderful time my family and I had at Villa La Vinya, we found the villa to be of a high standard. We will definitely be looking at what Solmar has to offer next year for our family holiday and again wish to thank you for helping to make this holiday one of the best that my family and I have had.
We have just returned from Villa La Vinya at Puerto Pollensa, Majorca, 19 May 07. What a fabulous villa this was, perfect location, easy walk to the town (with a pushchair) wonderful scenery, beautifully clean, all facilities there as promised. I will be recommending this to my family and friends as a must do holiday.
