The area is, popular with families in the high season and walkers, cyclists, golfers and climbers throughout the year. The local restaurants are just a short stroll away and the nearby supermarket is a 5 minute walk.
The accommodation includes 3 good sized bedrooms (1 double, 2 twins), 2 bathrooms, a lounge/dining area, fully equipped kitchen and utility room. French windows open onto a patio with garden furniture or you may prefer to relax on our sunloungers.

The living/dining room is very comfortable with a large dining table, two sofas, satellite TV, DVD and CD player. There is a selection of books and games and you are welcome to bring your own DVDs or CDs.
All bedrooms are a good size with ceiling fans and fitted wardrobes. Bedroom 1 has a double bed (twin beds with double bedhead) and bedroom 2 and 3 have twin beds. There are two family bathrooms, both with bath, shower and WC. 1 bathroom also has a bidet.
There is a modern, contemporary kitchen with all-new appliances including with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher. The utility room contains the washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board

The dining area has French windows opening onto a small ground floor balcony looking over the pool. Small tables and outdoor chairs are provided together with comfortable sun loungers. There is an awning to provide shade.
The gardens are attractive and well cared for and a hedge along the perimeter provides privacy. The shared swimming pool has a toddlers' section protected from the main pool by a barrier.
All linen and towels are provided (please bring your own beach towels).
The property is cleaned on a weekly basis. Rental includes a mid-stay linen change for bookings of 10 days or more which usually take place on the mid- Friday.
To ensure that your holiday gets off to a good start we provide a complimentary welcome pack on arrival - white wine, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, water and biscuits. Larger packs can be arranged on request.
A wooden cot, travel cot or high chair can be hired for a small additional charge.
The Mallorca/Majorca region
Puerto Pollensa is in the north of Mallorca, a 45 minute drive from Palma airport. The town is set on a beautiful wide bay with a lovely backdrop of the Tramuntana mountains. It is an attractive, mainly traditional town with low rise buildings, a large marina, long sandy beach, market square, pedestrian promenade and sophisticated 'Pine Walk'.
The traditional town of Pollensa is just a ten minutes drive, well worth a visit to stroll round its narrow medieval streets, old churches, Roman bridge and Sunday market. If you climb the 365 steps to Calvari Church you will be rewarded by a wonderful panoramic view.
A short drive or bus ride away, the old town of Alcudia is a perfectly restored walled city on the site of a Roman settlement, with remains of Roman houses and an amphitheatre.
Mallorca is delightful island with a fertile rural hinterland, stunning mountains (including some precipitous coast roads), spectacular caves and excellent markets (including the Wednesday market in the centre of the island at Sineu - get there early!). There is so much to explore in Mallorca, including Palma with its gothic cathedral and the narrow guage train ride from Palma to Soller.
The apartment is in a quiet area yet just 100 metres (3 minute level walk) from the long, sandy beach. The nearby supermarket (5 minute walk) provides a good range of groceries, fresh bread and pastries. There are two good local restaurants on the corner and other popular restaurants within a few minutes walk. There are regular bus services to Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia with a handy bus stop by the local restaurants. Further supermarkets, bars and restaurants, some with live music, are just 10 minutes away.
The main town is a 20-25 minute stroll along the promenade and has a variety of shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and a popular market on Wednesdays. Car parks in the town are free of charge.
There is a water sport school on the main beach (sailing, windsurfing, banana boats) and fishing from the small Llenaire pier. Horse riding can be arranged locally.
Local activities include:
Walking, cycling (there are several cycle hire shops), golf, tennis, mountaineering, rock climbing, paragliding
Swimming, sailing, windsurfing. Alcudia water park - exciting slides and a wave machine, plus a mini-golf course.

"Great location and accomodation"
Very comfortable apartment, there was six of us, plenty of space for cooking, eating and relaxing and very comfortable beds. Although very close to a beautiful beach its great to have a pool in the apartments' garden. There is a handy local restaurant just over the road from the apartment.
Close enough to walk into town, lots of great restuarants, shops and bars. There are plenty of taxis if you can't face the walk back after a relaxing evening!

"Excellent for families"
I stayed at this apartment with my husband, daughter (28) and grandchildren (9 years and 18 months). We found the apartment to be so well equipped particularly as we were travelling with young children. It is in a lovely area, short stroll to the wonderful beach and only 15 minutes walk to the town centre. The pool and garden area is lovely. A couple of local restaurants where the food and service are great - they couldn't do enough for us and the children. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment. Wendy Pearson, the owner, is very helpful with flights and transfers.
