The apartment is located on a very quiet street and backs on to fields with views across to the Pollensa hills and beyond, stunning sunsets.It is conveniently located with a 10 min walk to both the town square and the lovely sandy beach
The apartment is accessed up a short flight of steps to the front door. The hall leads through to a galley style kitchen/ serving bar with a through lounge diner. The French doors open on to the decent sized balcony which has a table and 4 chairs and a BBQ.The lounge area has a double fully sprung sofa bed, flat screen TV, iPod/mp3 dock DVD/CD player. There is the added advantage of a downstairs toilet and washbasin.
The upstairs has a bathroom with bath/ shower, washbasin and toilet. Next door there is a twin bedroom with French doors leading on to the upstairs balcony.

The lounge is extremely comfortable with a log burning stove making it very cosy for out of season breaks or chilly evenings the air-conditioning is hot/cold. There is an inside dining table as well as the patio table/chairs and umbrella. The brand new kitchen is very well equipped and has a large fridge.Upstairs has plenty of wardrobe and storage space.
The apartment is used extensively by ourselves and has everything you could need to have a really comfortable stay.

The charming old town of Pollensa is a ten minute drive from the apartment. With its wonderful old churches, medieval buildings, quaint back streets and colourful markets, the town is certainly worth a visit.
For those wishing to explore the island there is Palma's gothic cathedral and also the beautiful hillside towns of Valldemosa and Deia. Visit Soller and take the train through the orange groves or stop for lunch in a quaint Mallorcan village. There is so much to see!

"An ideal apartment to explore Porto Pollensa and the area"
We loved the apartment which was comfortable and easy for us to make ourselves at home in. The view from the first floor balcony was splendid. The location suited us as, in one direction, it was a short walk into the spectacular hills while, in the other direction, a few minutes walk took us to restaurants, bus stops, bike hire, shops and, of course, the sea. We still have lots to explore in the Pollensa area and further afield and we will certainly be booking again.

"Fantastically situated apartment."
Very well equipped apartment in peaceful location. Conveniently situated for supermarket,and a short stroll to bars and restaurants and the sea. Quiet at night with beautiful mountain scenery from the balconies. We hired a car but public transport so good we could have managed without it. Location of the apartment gave easy access to visiting surrounding area. We will definitely visit again.

"home from home"
just got back from a week staying at the hibiscus and we found it a great place to stay close to all the amenities with the super market 2 mins away, it really is a home from home you have all the little things you need for a comfy stay, its gets a bit chilly at nights in march so buy some logs from the super market and get the log burner going, great!! British tv, dvd player, docking station. it has great views from the balconies, great when your having lunch or glass of wine. its a perfect base if your there for the cycling as we where. it really is a home from home.

"All we could ask for."
A friend & I stayed in Hibiscus for a weeks Cycling holiday. We did not have any big requirements for our accommodation, just ample cooking & relaxation space, also it was important to be near to the roads out of Puerto de Pollensa. The apartment is approx. 3 mins walk to a large Eroski Supermarket, which was handy after a day on the bike with weary legs. The wood burning stove was great to warm the place up in the February evenings. There is a spacious balcony with BBQ provided, this was great on the warmer evenings during our stay. I am really not one to moan about minor details, particularly as this was mainly a base for us in the night, but that said if I was I would have to look quite deeply as everything was as I needed it.
I have been told before that its ideally located for cyclists , so another satisfied client

"A wonderful apartment - already booked for next year."
We were predominantly on a walking/ hiking holiday of the Puerto Pollenca area and this was the perfect base. Only 10 minutes walk to the main access points for many hill walks. Apartment itself spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable. BBQ supplied and sitting eating your meal on one of the balconies watching the sun set over the mountains is beautiful. Woodburning stove in the living room was a nice touch in Jan (although even then we used it more for the fun of it than because we needed it - warm air con was very efficient.). Also we were only 10 - 15 mins walk from the main seafront strip but staying in a very quiet neighbourhood. We booked again immediately for next year so we can complete some of the walks we had no time for this trip. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

"Spectacular views from fabulous apartment."
We hired a car, which although not necessary was exceptionally useful. We would suggest that anyone who is wishing to self-cater stops off in the Carre Four near Palma airport. We have stayed in numerous apartments and, without a doubt this one has to be the most comfortable and well equipped. So much so my partner kept dozing off on the sofa and he is only in his thirties! I love to cook and he likes to BBQ and everything we could possibly want was provided, although we had some issues starting the oven that was down to our ineptitude! The photos do not do this apartment justice. Opening the shutters in the bedroom early in the morning you could look out onto the mountains and as for the sunsets, they rivalled some of those we have experienced in the Caribbean. All this and it was still only a 10 minute walk to the beach and the sea was lovely and warm despite it being October. We would most definately recomment this apartment but please don't too many of you book as I think that we are going to want enough availability for us to visit again next year!

A very well equipped apartment, the ideal size for my wife and I to have a relaxing holiday. The balconies (there are 2) face west so get the sun all afternoon right through to sunset so they are nice little sun traps and they're not overlooked so I would imagine are ideal if you want that all over tan!! We went early season so had the pool to ourselves when we were there - a nice little pool with plenty of space around it - it is overlooked by some other apartments though. A decent sized supermarket is only a few minutes walk away and the market square and beach are 4 or 5 minutes further on. It's well situated for the starts of some lovely country walks that take you to neighbouring bays and there are even some guide books in the apartment that describe many of the walks in the surrounding area. We used the Resorthoppa bus to get there as recommended by the owner and the service was very quick - the driver did not know exactly where it was at first but with the map sent to us we managed to show the driver where it was and he dropped us at the end of the road (2 minutes walk). For the more adventurous I would also recommend the public transport system, it is a very regular service and extremely cheap. Friendly, helpful and informative service from the owner. Would definitely recommend this to anyone and would consider this apartment if we return to Puerto Polensa

"Bargain car free April week with wonderful views"
We had a lovely time in the apartment; it all worked very smoothly. The apartment was very spacious and attractive, though not super modern, we loved the views from the balconies! The kitchen was very well equipped and even had sharp knives, which are usually absent in apartments. A couple of minor points would make it even better: some cushions on the settees would soften the hard edges of the arms, a teapot and milk jug would please tea drinkers, and the pillows are a bit worn. Having two pillows on each bed would make it more comfortable sitting up, as the wall is rather hard.We have emailed the owner about these points and she immediately said she would address them. Tina, who looks after the apartment, was very nice and let us in early so we were settled by 11 am. We had a thoroughly good time and really liked the area. Walking distance to town and buses, some good walks from the apartment, supermarket at 5 mins walk. Apartment has a few areas where some attention to decor will be needed soon, but excellent value especially in April. There is a small pool but unheated, so too cold when we visited. Looks clean and well cared for.
Delighted more guests enjoyed staying at our apartment I have resolved the issue of pillows 2 pillows will be on each bed from now on! and more in the wardrobe There will be a teapot from the end of May (difficult to buy in the port so i will take one)Cushions from the sofa will be purchased. Internally, the apartment was totally decorated prior to these clients visit, all walls repainted white However I think they may have been referring to the balcony areas which will be painted within the next 2 weeks. The outside of the whole building does need repainting but we are at the nmercey of agreement of all the other residents
