Conditions
To confirm the booking, the 50% of the rental amount is required and the remaining balance is to be paid upon arrival to the property.
Booking payments can be made either by bank´s transfer to our Spanish account or by credit card, with a 2% supplement on card´s charge.
Payments on arrival can be made by cash, credit card (+2% supplement) or traveller cheques.
As an inventory and breakage deposit, a credit card number is required for the maximum amount of 300 Euros, only chargeable in case of any damage caused to the property.
Cancellation charges:
If a cancellation is made with more than 60 days prior to arrival, we will refund half of the deposit paid.
Cancellations made inside of 60 days prior to the arrival date are NON-REFUNDABLE.
The minimum rental period is one week.
The property is booked from 15.00 PM on the day of arrival through to 10.00 AM on departure day, this is necessary to allow for cleaning and preparation for next arrivals.
The Mallorca/Majorca region
The sedate resort of Puerto Pollensa stretches along a sheltered horseshoe-shaped bay lined with sandy beaches, set against the backdrop of the Boquer mountain range on the north coast of Mallorca. The resort has grown up around the scenic fishing port that serves the picturesque old Roman town of Pollensa, situated a few miles inland. Cafes, restaurants and tourist shops line on the famous pinewalk and the promenade along with some elegant hotels, which overlook the wide sandy beach and the bay, dotted with the colourful sails of yachts. Puerto Pollensa is renowned for hosting some of the best fish restaurants on Mallorca. While this is undoubtedly so, there is also a wide selection of restaurants catering to all tastes.
The Puerto Pollensa area
Puerto Pollensa offers all the usual watersports enjoyed by holidaymakers, with facilities and equipment available from various operators at the marina and along the beach. Glass bottom boat trips are available from the port. There are also opportunities for hiking along walking trails in the surrounding hills and scenic mountains. Sightseeing in the port itself and the neighbouring old town, particularly on foot, is an interesting option.
Excursions to the lighthouse at Cap Formentor, along a hair-raising but beautiful drive, are popular, also trips to other places of interest on Mallorca. On the outskirts of the adjacent resort of Cala San Vicente there are ancient burial caves. The island is small, and no matter where you start from on Mallorca no destination is more than 75 miles (120km) away. Generally, though, most visitors come to Puerto Pollensa purely for relaxation on the magnificent beaches.

My friends and I stayed for one week at the beginning of October 2012. We discovered Porto Pollensa to be a lovely 'up-market' destination, with great restaurants serving wonderful food and drink. There is only 1 large hotel and a couple of 'english' bars, which are easily avoided, meaning the resort is more refined than many – which was exactly what we were seeking. The Ancora 1A apartment is extremely well located on the sea-front road south of the marina. It takes around 10 minutes to walk to the marina, from which starts the famous 'pine walk, upon which you will find many lovely restaurants – one particular favourite of ours being the Casinet. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, with a lovely balcony on which to sit and watch the world go by – on indeed the sun come up, as we did every morning. The apartment is on the street corner, facing the main road with a minor side road next to it. Whilst there is a reasonable amount of traffic along the main sea-front road, at no time did we find it an issue, and watching the early morning walkers, runners and bikers was all part of the apartments charm. The beach facing balcony, where we spent almost all of our time, was the apartment's best feature. The spotlessly clean beach is accessed in about 60 seconds from leaving the apartment, it being directly across the road. The sandy bay is gently shelving and ideal for gently floating about while cooling off from the sun. The only fault we could possibly find with the apartment was that the tiling in the en-suite shower had clearly been re-touched at some stage and been botched, meaning it sat at odds with the remainder of the lovely decor. However, that really is a very minor blot on an otherwise superb property. In summary, the Ancora 1A is a lovely well-located apartment in a desirable resort. I recommend it highly. PS – the Italian / pizza restaurant opposite offers great pizzas and paella, but the salads aren't up the same standard... |

Very well equiped and situated apartments. I would even say perfect location! The beach is in front of the house, few seconds walking (!) When you wake up in the morning you can enjoy the sunrise from the terrace and the amazing sea view. Take a coffee and enjoy! We stayed here for a week. The whole family of 6 person - no problem. 3 Separate bedrooms, 2 bathroom, kitchen and all necessary equpment, everything available. 2 restaurants are to the left and in front of the house, and also there are some (4 or 5 we didnt count) not very far. There is a supermarket to the back of the house if someone wants to cook and buy everything there. Very convinient! Highly recommended! p.s.: we're from Russia, booked it with no problems. |
