Short and long rental in accordance to Spanish Rental Law, LAU, Ley de Arrendamientos Urbanos. No services provided. Recently refurbished sea front apartment, situated on the famous 'Paseo Saralegui', over the marine of Puerto de Pollensa. Excellent location.
It has 3 double bedrooms and 2 complete bathrooms. Air conditioned and heating. Brand new fitted kitchen with an American bar. Lounge diner leading to the private terrace.

Only 6 km away from Golf Pollensa and Golf Alcanada in Alcudia. The front marina offers excurions with boat to Formentor bay and boat charters if you want to experience a nice sailing in the bay.
The apartment is located in the centre sea front of Puerto Pollensa, 50 metres from the beach, and 5 minuts away from all amenities, restaurants and the famous pine-walk. Puerto Pollensa is a very special location for spring and summer holidays.

"Great apartment in a great location - poor service from owner"
3 Adults and 2 Children (aged 7 and 3) stayed at Los Faroles during a very hot 2 weeks in August. We booked the holiday much earlier in the year and everything was fine. About 4 weeks before the holiday, we had a few questions for the owner who was extremely slow to respond (to the point where we were getting really worried about our holiday). We had to chase and chase him via e-mail and mobile to try and get hold of him. Eventually he did get in touch saying that he was very busy and everything was arranged for our arrival. We were told to pick the keys up from the Restaurant below and let ourselves into the apartment (which we did with no issue) and someone would arrive later to take the remaining payment, bond and sign the contracts. No one turned up at the specifed time so we had to contact this person to find out what was happening. He told us he had never agreed to the time we were advised and it would be much later before he got to the apartment. We then contacted the owner to let him know and that we weren't staying in the apartment waiting around. Not a great start. The apartment is in an excellent location opposite the Marina and is well kitted out. It is also close to a long sandy beach where you can hire sun-beds and umbrellas as well as a range shops, bars and Restaurants. There are also a lot of supermarkets within walking distance. The apartment has a new Kitchen, a great Lounge/Dining Room with comfortable furniture, a flat-screen TV and DVD player which leads onto a large balcony with great views over the Marina, the beach and the hills beyond. There is also a good sized utility room that is half covered and half open-air with a Washing Machine and drying area which was very useful. The 2 bathrooms are both fine with one being very new. The 3 bedrooms were fine although the smallest room with the bunk beds does not have air-conditioning so given that the weather was so hot, we couldn't use it for sleeping in so just stored things in there. This meant that the 2 Children and their Mother had to share 2 single beds in an air-conditioned bedroom which wasn't ideal but we managed. When we arrived one of the Wardrobe doors was off the hinges so we had to fix that ourselves first in order to use the Wardrobe. During our stay we did report that the air-conditioning unit in the main living room wasn't working well and was having no impact on the temperature of the room. A couple of days later someone did arrive to check it but thought it wasn't working because we had the Balcony doors open. Even though we explained that we had only just opened the doors because the air-conditioning unit wasn't cooling the room, he didn't seem to think there was a problem. He had turned up without tools (very odd indeed) so said he would return in 30 mins. He never did return to fix the air-conditioning unit and we had to spend the whole 2 weeks without an air-conditioned main living/dining room which given the hot temperatures throughout our stay pretty much meant we spent our time on the balcony when we were in the apartment. This was a real shame as it is a lovely, well appointed apartment in a great location. Again, even though we tried to contact the owner, he never came back to us which was very annoying and very poor customer service. The owner takes a 200 Euro Bond from you at the start of the holiday to cover any damages that might occur during your stay. I think it would be much fairer if the person renting the apartment was also entitled to compensation for things that don't work during the holiday (as with the air-conditioning) that you have paid for in the rental cost. I was a bit concerned about the apartment being above a Restaurant but during the whole 2 weeks we never heard a noise from below even though it is a very busy Restaurant and well worth a visit, although you can order food from there and take it back up to your balcony if you prefer which was nice - best seat in the house with views to die for!!. I was a bit disappointed that you weren't given a change of Towels and Bedding during your 2 week stay especially as the cost per week is the same. I think this is something the owner should look to address. At the end of the holiday, the owner is supposed to return and check the apartment for damage and if everything is ok, return your 200 Euro bond. We were advised the night before we left that he may not be able to meet us so he would check the apartment later and transfer the money back to us if everything was ok. I was totally unhappy about this arrangeent as this should have been done while we were both there so he didn't try and blame us for damage or faults that were already there (including a shelf that was missing in the hallway leaving 2 supports sticking out of the wall which I felt was dangerous, unsightly and needs fixing). Again, a few days after the holiday I still hadn't heard anything from the owner so had to chase him to see if he had checked the apartment and if everything was OK (which I new it was and certainly in a better state than when we arrived after we had fixed the wardrobe door, put a light bulb in the main lamp in the living room and changed about 6 ceiling light bulbs duing our stay). He confirmed that the apartment was fine and eventually transfered the money back to our account. Depsite the issues with the owner and a couple of things not working as expected in the apartment - mainly the air-conditioning, we had a fabulous holiday and would love to return to Los Faroles but I would need a very big assurance from the owner that his customer service was going to be much better and that things would be in good working order in the apartment during our stay (or that we would be well compensated if they weren't).
