Brand new 3-apartment house right above the target for the local hang-gliding club. Stunning, uninterrupted views out over the sea. Apartment Amarillo is the only flat on the top floor with large private terraces to the front (overlooking the sea) and the back of the house, lovely and cool on hot days. You will be within very easy reach of the beach resort of Puerto Naos with shops, bars and restaurants, approximately 10 minutes by car.
You can just relax at the beach and top up your tan or use the apartment as the base for a walking and activity holiday. The local jumping-off point for hang-gliders is within walking distance. The apartment has a hob, microwave, large fridge, toaster, coffee machine, kettle. The apartment is reached via an outside stone staircase.

The La Palma region
La Palma is La Isla Bonita of the Canary Islands. It is the greenest one and also one of the steepest islands in the world which means that there are fantastic views from almost everywhere on the island. It is extremely famous for its walks, particularly the 'Route of the Volcanoes' - a walk down the spine of the island (about 6 hours) and the walk round the volcanic crater (the Caldera) which also takes about 6 hours. The beaches are pleasantly uncrowded and are of black volcanic sand.
Puerto Naos area
Puerto Naos is the main beach resort of the sunny west side of La Palma. It has an attractive beach promenade with restaurants, bars and shops. One of the island's main hotels (Hotel Sol) is at the south end of the beach. There is a Spar supermarket for your local shopping. You can hang-glide from your doorstep in Casa Los Picachos to the beach in Puerto Naos if you would like to do something a little more unusual on your holiday.
How to get there
Thomsonfly fly direct from London Gatwick and Manchester to Santa Cruz de la Palma (code is SPC) once a week. If this is not convenient for you, there are flights from most UK regional airports to Gran Canaria and Tenerife and then you can take the local airlines, Binter Canarias and Islas Airways to reach La Palma. Or fly to Madrid and take the direct flight from Madrid to La Palma. The apartments are set in a quiet spot on the sunny east side of the island and can easily be reached within one hour's drive from the airport or ferry terminal.
