Home description
The theme here is nature. We have a private access to the beach for our villas only. The beach is very secluded. For years , known as the secret beach to local people, it is not ever crowded and you can find shells, see sea turtles at certain times of the year and many other animals.
Playa del Secreto is between Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen. 20 minutes from the Cancun airport.
The one bedroom, one bath villa is like a home. The kitchen is set up with everything you need. Even cookbooks. The bath has a large tiled walk in shower.
As you have no steps it is easy to get in and out. The large pool is only steps away. But , this is not a concrete jungle. It is flowers and grass.see pictures.
You can get fresh fish every day in Puerto Morelos at 3:00 when the fishermen come in. The grill is in a relaxing setting by the pool and under a palapa with swings.
The beach is blue-green crystal clear Caribbean...

The Yucatan Peninsula / Mayan Riviera region
The region tropical and on the Carribean Sea, it is a world away from the Cancun set. You can go there in 25 minutes, but coming back, is always a treat. Very few people and charming atmosphere.
The temperature is approx 75 to 88 degrees F year round. The Mayan Riviera has many interesting places to see.
Puerto Morelos area
The small town of Puerto Morelos is only 5 minutes drive away with many great restaurants and a small grocery store and shops. It is a very laid back fishing village. People come here that want to be at the Caribbean without the madness of Cancun.
There are several(9) really great restaurants in Puerto Morelos. Also, a small grocery store. No one is trying to braid your hair or sell you anything. However, there are great places to shop.
Playa del Carmen is 20 minutes drive and is action packed. Also, there is a ferry from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel that goes out every hour.
Of course, Cancun is about 25 minutes away if you want to party, explore or shop. But its always nice to come back to your own secret beach..

Further details indoors: A futon in the den and one in the bedroom. A king sized bed with pillow top mattress. Gas stove and oven. Refrigerator, toaster,microwave,blender,all dishes and cutlery. All linens are provided. Potable water is provided. Good water pressure, hand held shower head in shower. Large storage for personal items. this area is safe. a gated community.
Further details outdoors: The patio is private with table and chairs. also, Hammocks.Chairs are around the pool for guests as well as a palapa with grill. again, hammocks. On the beach, we have a gazebo and a palapa for shade.Beach chairs are in your villa. Also, on the beach, hammocks. Each of these homes are owned by different people. We own two. We live in one and rent out the other. Also, we manage some of the others for other owners.

We only allow 4 guests to a one bedroom vila. this is comfortable. We do not require a credit card as we have never had anyone cause problems or ruin property.
Conditions
We have a 5 day minimum. If you would like for us to stock your kitchen before you come, once you have reserved your nights, you can send me a list. Depending on the items needed, I will let you know the price for this service.
