About the home

This beautiful newly and fully re furbished apartment on a residential complex boasts 2 private sun terraces, one overlooking the complex with its 2 solar heated swimming pools and the other with sea and mountain views. This splendid apartment comprises of a lounge-diner with double sofabed, radio/cd player, DVD player, flat screen plasma TV with satellite channels (RTE 1 and 2. BBC 1 and 2. SKY NEWS and sports),free wireless internet connection,and an air-con tower. Also a double bedroom with fullsize cot and highchair available if required. A spacious modern bathroom with walk-in shower and washing machine. The fitted kitchen includes hob, grill and oven, fridge-freezer, also microwave oven, kettle and toaster. Patio furniture for al fresco dining while watching the spectacular sunset. Matagorda Bay recently featured on Channel 4's "A Place in the Sun Home or Away".

Use of facilities at the adjacent Sol Morro Mar hotel including supermarket, bar, restaurant,evening entertainment and children's play area. Diving school nearby, and a brand new golf course just a 10 minute drive away. Commercial centre with its shops, bars, bike and car rentals etc just a short stroll away. A relaxing holiday complex with all the exciting night life of Peurto del Carmen just a short bus or taxi ride away. Matagorda Bay is a secure gated complex with laundry facilities on site.

As seen in the photo gallery, this apartment is bright, spacious and airy. The high domed-shaped ceiling in the lounge-dining area is an added feature along with the oven/grill in the kitchen for inexpensive eating al fresco if desired. Bedroom boasts a kingsize bed with 2 double wardrobes and lockers and a sun terrace with pool view.

Large swimming pool and childrens pool with sun loungers available. There are soft drinks and ice-cream vending machines in the reception area. Relax on the roof terrace with a good book beside the orange tree. Car parking beside complex in quiet cul-de-sac. A refuse and recycling centre are provided adjacent to the complex (behind the roundabout), to dispose of refuse, plastics and papers etc.

Stroll along the Matagorda promenade towards Arricefe and watch the planes landing and taking off or hire bicycles and use the cycle lanes all the way to Puerto del Carmen.

“the perfect holiday” We stayed in this apt for 3 weeks last summer and couldn't have asked for anything more. The apt was in pristine condition, it had absolutely everything, and even better again the owners were fantastic to deal with. The complex was well maintained. The apt is situated in a great location just a few minutes away from the promenade in Matagorda, which I would highly recommend, if you are looking for a relaxing holiday. I would have no hesitations in recommending this apartment, and was hoping to go again this year only we are getting married, but we have every intention of going back here again next year... Thank you Sadie, for everything.

Hi Martin and Sadie,
Well what can we say other than thank you so much for the use of your lovely apartment. We found it absolutely perfect for our needs and everything was as described. Hilary was very helpful and sorted out the only problem we had which was with the safety deposit box and was our fault anyway. We had such a brilliant time and are seriously considering booking for three weeks next year bringing our youngest daughter too. We would be looking at probably around the same time, could you please advise on the price.

To any discerning holidaymaker looking for a beautiful well fitted out apartment with all mod cons then this is the place for you. Hi,
Just wanted to say we had a wonderful time in your apartment. Upon enteriing the complex we were so impressed with how clean and looked after everything was. Once inside the apartment the welcome pack was such a nice touch and greatly appreciated. It was so nice to have all the home comforts available wifi/tv etc and the decoration is immaculate. The terraces front and back made sure we could take advantage of the sun whatever time of day it was and the pool area was kept immaculate all the time. I really do hope we will be visiting again.

We returned back home on Friday from your wonderful apartment in Matagorda having had a great time. Everything about your place was ideal, especially having the 2 sun terraces so we could split the day and not miss any sun ! We enjoyed it so much that I immediately checked the computer for new dates in October for another break

We had a great time in Matagorda Oct 09, the apartment is located in an ideal location, within 6-7minute walk of Matagorda itself and very close to the bus stop to take a trip to Puerto del Carmen....( 1 Euro 15 cents, what could be better ?). The complex is ideal if you want a lovely relaxing holiday, quite compact with the pool within a few feet from the door, a surplus of sunbeds ensures you do not have to get up at the crack of dawn to get one !.
The apartment itself was all we wished for, immaculately clean and well maintained with all you need to ensure a hassle free holiday.
We would not hesitate to book again.

I found this apartment great, very suitable and safe for my 2 year old. The sun terraces allowed her extra playing space and also security from the pool area. Ideal apartment for a relaxing family holiday!
