About the home

CASA LYDIA is a beautiful family owned private villa with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, internally fitted out to a very high standard.
.
The large terrace has outdoor seating and a gas BBQ for your al fresco dining, this area has patio doors that blocks off the pool area just in case the little ones decide to test the pool. The pool area is very private and you
have your own 9m x 3m electrically heated swimming pool and sun terrace. Sunbeds with cushions are provided for your use.

The large spacious lounge has Sky TV, DVD and VHS.Also provided for your enjoyment is a separate TV
with Playstation and games.
Upstairs are 2 large bedrooms with King size beds, both are en-suite. Both have large balconies with
seating. From your balcony you have stunning panoramic sea and mountain views.
Downstairs is a further twin-bedded room with its own bathroom.

Air conditioning is provided in both the upstair bedrooms and in the lounge.(payable locally) A free standing fan is provided
for the downstairs twin room.

The Lanzarote region

Set 60 miles off the African coast, the island experiences long hot summers and short sunny winters.

Lanzarote is often described as "The Mystical Island" with its unique Volcanic Landscapes and its beautiful
stunning views from all regions on the island.

There are no rainy seasons, the norm being about 10 wet days a year.

The Puerto del Carmen area

A visit to the Timafaya fire mountain is a must, an excellent tour or you can go by car.

Cesar Manrique attractions are well known to past and present visitors, you will find plenty around the island.

Papagayo Beaches are another area not to be missed, along with the Sunday market in the ancient capital
of Teguise and the chic sports marina of Puerto Calero with its catamaran and submarine excursions and
its wealth of bars and restaurants. This is one of our Friday night favourits.

Within 10 minutes walk, we now have an excellent Shopping Mall, Biosfera with stacks of shops , cafes
and bars. a world class sports centre with a multitude of sports catered for and 15mins walk away.
Lanzarote"s newest attraction, the new Golf course, situated directly to Lanzarotes newest and modern
clinic/hospital.

If partying is your bag, then the main Puerto Del Carmen Fiesta of the year is in the first two weeks of August
when the Old Town areas bursts into life with music and dancing into the small hours.

February is Carnival month on the island, who needs to go to Rio when Arricife is only 15 minutes up the road
from Casa Lydia.
