The apartment has a fantastic location, regardless of whether you're looking for a busy night-life or a week of rest and relaxation. A 5-10 minute walk will take you to the beach front, where numerous restaurants, bars and clubs can be found.
If you are looking for a more relaxed night out, then the old town is a 10-15 minute walk away, offering a wide range of restaurants and bars with great views of the marina. The apartment itself has one bedroom with twin beds, a kitchen and living area with a double sofa bed, bathroom (with shower) and private terrace with outdoor table and chairs.
This is a newly refurbished property that is also our holiday home, so we have equipped it to be a comfortable holiday base. It is brand new to holiday lettings, so good availability and rates, so value for money.

The Lanzarote region
Lanzarote is situated just 79 miles from the West coast of Africa and is the most Easterly of the Canary Islands. The Island is 37 miles long (60 km) and 12 miles wide (20 km), making it the fourth largest island in the Canaries.
Lanzarote enjoys a warm, dry climate with average daytime temperatures ranging from 21'C in January to 29'C in August. Annual rainfall is just 140mm (5.5 inches). This makes Lanzarote the perfect year-round destination.
Amongst the many stunning volcanic features of Lanzarote, is the longest volcanic tunnel in the world, the Atlantida tunnel, which is over 7km long and includes La Cueva de los Verdes and Jameos del Agua, both are fantastic places to visit.
There are also many other places to visit and explore, such as the Timanfaya National Park, the Cactus Gardens and the most beautiful house of Cesar Manrique.
Despite the volcanic nature of the island, Lanzarote has several beautiful beaches, in Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca and Papagayo.
For children (and the young at heart) there is the Rancho Texas Park only 5 miles away, with wild animals, cowboy shows and authentic wild west cuisine; Tropical Park; horse and camel riding; watersports & pedalos on the beach front.
Puerto del Carmen / Central Puerto del Carmen area
Puerto del Carmen's 'blue flag' rated beach, is the best on the whole island and offers a host of sporting activities from scuba diving, snorkelling and windsurfing, to sport fishing and jet skiing. Of course if you prefer to enjoy beach life from the comfort of a sun lounger, then you shouldn't have any problems as the beach is 4 miles (6km) long.
There are also many other fantastic facilities at the Puerto del Carmen sports centre including squash, tennis, table tennis, crazy golf and an indoor swimming pool and spa.
A brand new 18 hole golf course has recently opened in Puerto del Carmen with amazing sea views which will undoubtedly attract the keenest of golfers.

The apartment is only a 15 minute taxi ride away from Arrecife airport, generally costing 15Euros to and from the apartment.

Further details indoors: The apartment consists of one twin bedroom with two fitted wardrobes, providing plenty of hanging and storage space and a safe for your valuables.The bathroom has a bath, shower, sink and WC. The apartment has good water pressure and plenty of hot water so you can enjoy a powerful shower to get rid of all the sand between your toes!
The fully fitted kitchen includes a two ring hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment and a full range of utensils and crockery. A modern living area with easy pull-out double sofa bed (with separate mattress), breakfast bar and stools, satellite TV, DVD player, iron and ironing board, chest of drawers for extra storage space.
My brother owns a 1 bedroom apartment on the same complex, furnished to the same standard, so if two apartments are required, then this can be arranged, subject to availability.
Further details outdoors: The apartment terrace benefits from the sun all day long. The pools and gardens of the complex are cleaned and maintained on a daily basis. Sun loungers are provided around the pools for sunbathing.
The complex has a large wall around the perimeter with two gates for access to provide security and privacy.

This is a no-smoking property, however, smoking is permitted outside on the balcony.We can arrange for a welcome pack, consisting of basic items, to be supplied for clients who have late flights.
Our friend in Lanzarote manages our apartments and is available if any problems or emergencies occur (contact details will be supplied upon booking).
£70 deposit (per week) is required at the time of booking and the outstanding balance is payable 8 weeks prior to departure.
Conditions
Prices may be subject to change at the owner's discretion. A one week holiday rental would cost £170.00 for 2 people.
A supplement of £30 per person per week is required for parties of more than 2 people.
A short term break (less than 7 days) would cost £50.00 for 2 people per day. A supplement of £5 per person per day is required for parties of more than 2 people.

At the end of your first week, our cleaner will change all towels and bed linen. The cost of this is included in the price.
