About the home

Villa Montana is located in a quiet road in the less commercialised village of Tias but within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops & banks Our aim is to offer good value for money and ensure guests have the best possible holiday. The Villa is set in its own garden with private heated swimming pool & parking for one car. The elevated village setting gives panoramic views of the sea & surrounding area.

Villa Montana is a luxury, well maintained 3 bedroom villa, with two double bedrooms, one en-suite, with king size double beds & one bedroom with twin beds. All bedrooms have fitted cupboards & wardrobes
The fully fitted kitchen & utility room include oven, fridge, microwave & washing machine. There is Sky satellite TV, DVD & video with a selection of English tapes/DVDS and the use of the safe are all included in the price.
It is a short ten minute drive to golden sandy beaches & a five minute drive to the new & best golf course on the Island.

Outside there are three south facing patio areas with ample sunny & shade areas all day long. The patio area around the pool has a garden area at the rear while the patio area with the BBQ has a border of colourful shrubs. The remaining patio area in front of the villa has a covered dining area. Patio tables, chairs & sun loungers are provided.

Villa Montana is decorated & maintained to a very high standard. Furnishings are to a high standard to provide a peaceful & relaxed atmosphere. The dining area leads directly into the kitchen through an arched wall. The fully fitted kitchen & utility room includes a microwave, iron & ironing board, washing machine & drying area. A hairdryer is also provided. There is free use of a safe.

Regret no all male, all female or all aged under 25 parties
A deposit of £100 per week is required when booking & the balance is due 8 weeks prior to the date of travel.
Smokers are requested not to smoke inside the villa.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote enjoys all year sunshine with average temperatures of about 70 degrees. The golden sandy beaches of Puerto Del Carmen and Los Pocillos are just a 10 minute drive from Tias, one of the main attractions of Lanzarote. The unusual lunar landscape of the island lends itself to some very unique sightseeing excursions.

All the main attractions of Lanzarote including Rancho Texas activity centre with three shows daily, the green lake at El Golfo, Teguise Sunday Market, surfing at La Caleta de Famara, the catus gardens at Oasis de Nazzaret, the cave at Jameos del Agua, fantastic views at Mirador del Rio & much, much more are all within easy driving distance

There are excellent bus services from Tias to Puerto Del Carmen, Yaiza, Playa Blanca & Arrecife. Taxis are also available in Tias. However, the roads all over the island are reasonable and a hire car is a worthwhile addition to make the most of your holiday and essential if you wish to take in all the sights.

The Puerto del Carmen / Tias area

The village of Tias is situated just 4Kms inland from Puerto Del Carmen and has all the necessary shops and excellent restaurants. This village location is an excellent base to play golf & explore the island of Lanzarote. The Timanfaya National Park & the sandy coves of Papagayo near Playa Blanca are only a short drive away and the lively resort of Puerto Del Carmen with its large array of restaurants, shops and bars, harbour and superb sandy beach is an easy 4Kms drive, taxi ride or bus journey away.

The excellent golf course, Lanzarote Golf, is only 5 minute drive from Villa Montana. The 18 hole, par 72, course was created by the well known designer Ron Kirby. Lanzarote Golf offers all services a golfer requires, including renting of all golf equipment.

Activities available locally are cycling, diving, fishing, horse riding, sailing, water ski-ing, wind surfing & go-karting.

Flights
Changeover day in Lanzarote is generally Thursday but we can offer other days where flights are available. We are able to assist in arranging flights either direct with the airline or through ticket agents.
Tickets are available from travel agents, most major airlines & tour companies, such as :-
www.easyjet.com, www.firstchoice.co.uk, www.flymonach.co.uk, www.flythomascook.com

Car hire is recommended but not essential as all facilities are within walking distance of the villa.
We can arrange car hire through various companies & the cars can either be collected at the Airport or delivered to the villa.

“Ideal villa for the perfect holiday” The villa was clean, well equipped, and the location in Tias was ideal for us, quiet yet only 2 mins walk from centre of Tias or 10 min Drive to the beach and nightlife at peurto del carmen also a great base to tour the island from. The pool was clean and on the one occasion when there was a slight problem with the pool heating we phoned colin from the property maintainence company and he was there in 15mins and fixed the problem. Tias itself has good shopping facilities and plenty of places to eat out. Hope to return in the near future
