The Lanzarote region
Lanzarote is the most easterly of the seven major Canary Islands and lies in the Atlantic Ocean only some 100 km (60 miles) from the coast of Africa and 1,000 km (600 miles) from the Iberian Peninsula. Puerto del Carmen / Los Mojones area
Puerto Del Carmen is located on the coast in the southern central part of the island and is only a 10 minute drive from Arrecife Airport and is therefore situated ideally to explore the tourist and cultural attractions that Lanzarote has to offer. It is the largest and busiest resort on the island and is made up of the charming old town and new town.
Puerto del Carmen was originally a small fishing village, with the old harbour still being a delightful spot to have a drink or a meal in the one of the wide variety of bars and some typical Spanish restaurants.
The resort has grown over many years and is spread out along the 5 kilometre expanse of golden sandy beaches. There are strict planning restrictions that exist on the island which saves Lanzarote being spoilt by high rise hotels, etc that blight the Costas in other areas of Spain.
Due to the year round climate in Lanzarote, visitors can enjoy outdoors sports and activities in Puerto del Carmen whatever the season.
It is the ideal location for those who just want to relax in the sunshine either on the beach or by the pool, there is a wide choice for the water sport enthusiasts and for those who prefer livelier nighttime entertainment it offers some great restaurants, bars, nightclubs and shopping. There are a number of diving schools and windsurfing centres both here and in the neighbouring resorts.

Further details indoors: From the private drive you will access the hall which leads to the fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, oven/hob, fridge freezer, coffee maker and all mod cons.
The washing machine and spin dryer are located down the hall.
Steps lead down to the spacious lounge where you will find the full SKY TV and DVD player plus a selection of DVD’s. Games have been provided for the children to keep them occupied for hours.
There is a separate internal dining room with doors that lead to the patio/pool area. A ‘hostess trolley’ has also been provided.
In the master bedroom you will find a four poster king-size bed and dressing area. The large en-suite bathroom has a bath with a shower in but also at the end of the bathroom is large walk in shower in the wet room. Bedroom 2 has a double bed with fitted wardrobes and access to a shower room. The 3rd bedroom has twin beds, fully fitted wardrobes and access to another bathroom. The games room that doubles as a fourth bedroom has a single bed with a pull out mattress underneath that would sleep another child, if needed.
A pool table is provided in the games room/4th bedroom.
All rooms have the lovely benefit of double doors leading out to the private terracing and pool area.
Further details outdoors: Two sets of double doors take you to the covered alfresco dining area. A gas patio heater and gas BBQ has been provided for the chef of the house.
