About the home

Villa Pennlee is a detached residence set in its own gardens located in the Los Pocillos area of Puerto del Carmen, the Islands main resort. Quiet and peaceful, yet only a short stroll to the many shops and excellent restaurants, and in close proximity to the large sandy beaches as well as several smaller less busy coves. Several excursions are easily available, a trip to the huge bustling Sunday Market in the old town of Teguise is not to be missed.

The Villa is on a small complex and benefits from a shared swimming pool and adjacent children's splash pool ideal for our younger visitors. Leading from the living room is a large patio furnished with table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With one double and one twin bedroom, the villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote enjoys a pleasant year round climate, which can provide a sunny break at any time of year, average temperatures range from 20c in January to 27c in July. Although only a small island Lanzarote has many fine sandy beaches and attractions to offer you. Several unique excursions are available including the not to be missed visit to the volcanic National Park at Timanfaya. Sports enthusiasts are well catered for with windsurfing, scuba diving, horse riding, squash tennis, and two 18 hole golf courses.

The Puerto del Carmen / Los Pocillios area

Puerto del Carmen is an attractive bustling resort, once a small fishing village built around an atmospheric harbour, now has all the facilities and amenities of a thriving holiday resort. However, the old town still retains its traditional charm while providing an abundace of international and local restaurants, bars and nightlife.The main Avenida which runs alongside the beautiful wide sandy beaches and looks towards the large island of Feurteventura has lovely landscaped gardens of sub tropical plants with many seating areas where you can relax and admire the views.

Villa Pennlee is situated only 10 minutes from Arrecife, the Islands only airport.
Some of the many airlines that fly to Lanzarote include Easjet Thomas Cook, Ryan Air, Monarch and Jet2.com, Browse travelsupermarket.com for the best deals.
Taxi's are freely available from the airport (approx 10 euro's), also several car hire companies serve the airport if required, however due to the villa's close proximity to the resort of Puerto del Carmen car hire is not a necessity.
Good quality cars at an affordable price can be hired from cabreramedina.com if required.
An easy to follow map and directions will be provided for your arrival.

As Christine said on the phone we really enjoyed our holiday, infact I would say it is probably the most relaxing holiday that we have had. The accommodation was exactly as described, no it was probably better than described.
We have discussed our holiday and are both of the opinion that we will definitely be back.

Just got back from Lanzarote and wanted to thank you for the use of your beautiful villa. It was really great and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The villa is lovely, with everything that one could ask for and we had a very relaxed and peaceful time.

First I must say you have a lovely villa in a great location.
Could not ask for a better break very peaceful, home from home feeling.
Having been fortunate to have spent the last 14 years in the canaries at Xmas / New Year, best accommodation/location so far.
