About the home

The elegant decoration and furnishings provide a serene, relaxing atmosphere throughout the villa. The living area is beautifully decorated with modern furnishings and has picture windows through which guests can enjoy amazing views to the sea. As well as ample comfortable sofas, the living area also features a formal dining table with seating for eight guests.

The villa has a large, separate, extremely well equipped modern kitchen. French windows lead from both the living area and the kitchen onto the upper terrace area. Also on the upper floor is a pretty twin bedroom and full bathroom with overhead shower. There are three further bedrooms on the lower level. The beautiful master bedroom is gracefully decorated with a sumptuous four poster bed and has French windows leading out to a large covered terrace.

It has a separate dressing area, and an en-suite bathroom with twin basins and a full bath with overhead shower. Also on the lower level are two further spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. These two bedrooms share a family bathroom. All of the bedrooms are beautifully furnished, have fitted wardrobes and offer the additional comfort of ceiling fans.

This villa is set in it’s own exceptionally large grounds with landscape garden all around made up of sunbathing and dining terraces on various levels. The beautiful swimming pool and surrounding terraces are positioned to make the most of the fantastic sea views. Leading from the living room and kitchen is the upper terrace on which there is patio furniture and a barbeque for guests to enjoy alfresco dining.

A sweeping staircase leads to the lower terrace and pool area. The 9m x 4m, electrically heated pool has Roman steps and features a pretty dolphin mosaic. There is a second patio table and chairs on the lower terrace which is covered to offer a shaded area. Ample sunbeds and beautiful views make this an ideal villa for guests wishing to make the most of the Canarian sun.A hot spa jacuzzi adds to the luxury.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote the sun-kissed most easterly island of the 7 main Canary islands is claimed to be the most exclusive. The climate is dominated by north eastern trade winds and the warm Canary stream producing glorious summer temperatures all year round. The main resorts are concentrated in the centre and south of the island, Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise, and Playa Blanca. The most popular resort is Carmen with over 2 kms of golden sand, rocky divides and palm trees. Only a six minute drive away from the hustle and bustle of Puerto del Carmen Casa Candalaria can be found.

Lanzarote: is perfect for a fabulous sunshine holiday, it lies in a sub-tropical location just 60 miles from Africa. There are many sites to see that have been created by the volcanic activity over thousands of years. Timanfaya National Park is an amazing phenomenon, where if a stick is pushed into the ground it will catch fire immediately due to the heat in the ground.

Cuevas de los verdes (the green caves) are lava tunnels produced by volcanic eruptions. These are one of the longest in the world, stretching 7 km below the sea and visitors to the caves can walk 1.5 km down into them. Some of the volcanic soils are very fertile and the Island has its own 'wine region' from which the delicious Malvasia wine is produced.

Puerto del Carmen is very well equipped for water sports scuba diving, deep sea fishing and windsurfing. Near to Tias are 2 first class Go kart tracks each with bar’s and restaurant facilities. 10 minutes drive north takes you to Costa Teguise (just 7km away) were the island’s premier golf course can be found (so bring your clubs).

The Puerto del Carmen / Tias area

The villa is situated on the edge of the large, bustling village of Tias, in the quiet La Candelaria residential area. The main village shops, bars and a good selection of restaurants are only a fifteen minute walk or a two minute drive away. There is also a small local shop within a five minute walk.

Tias is only four kilometres from the amenities and miles of glorious golden beaches of Puerto Del Carmen. Tias now boasts its own new golf course (just 3km away) which makes two full 18 hole courses on the Island. Both the owners and managing agents of this villa play and would be only too pleased to advise or arrange some golf during your stay.

The wine growing region of La Geria and the volcanic national park of Timanfya are also only a short drive away. The transfer time from the airport is approximately ten minutes and you will be met at the airport to assist with your luggage and transfer. Golf clubs can be provided.
