TERRACITAS APARTMENT 12 is in a lovely quiet area yet close to all amenities. This is a spacious stuio apartment in Old Town Puerto del Camen, Sleeps 4 and is close to all amenities. It is located in a nice quiet area. The apartment is in a secure complex and is south facing,situated on the pool terrace, but far enough away from the pool to maintain your privacy.
It is very comfortably furnished and has recently been updated to a very high standard. A lovely peaceful place to "get away from it ", but close enough to the night life if you feel you want to " let your hair down ".. Internet access available close by.
All local bars do take away.
A new golf course is within walking distance for the energetcic or 5 or 6 minutes by car, taxi , or bus. Taxis are frequent in this area and can usually be hailed out side the apartment complex.
A NEW 250 BERTH MARINA IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING BUILT. ALL IN ALL A SUPERB RESORT WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR A TRULY FABULOUS HOLIDAY.

The Lanzarote region
The centre of Puerto del Carmen has of bars and restaurants and a 5kl golden sandy beach where lots of water sports are available. Ideal for the young at heart, couples and families.
The old town where the apartment is situated is very quiet, although there are bars, ( all do take away ) A supermarket, butcher and hairdresser are adjacent to the complex. nothing for you to leave the vicinity of the apartment for if you would prefer a quiet environment and enjoy a really peaceful holiday.
New steps through the gate at the side of the apartment take you down to the very quaint harbour where fish restaurants abound. A short walk round the headland brings you to Playa Chica beach where you can dive, swim or snorkel.
The bar Playa Mar serves excellent food at very reasonable prices. Continue your walk and this will bring you to the main golden sandy beach of the new town of Puerto del Carmen, where there are lots of water sports for you to enjoy.
There is also a diving school close to the apartment, ideal for beginners as well as the experienced. Puerto del Carmen is an all year round resort where the sun can be enjoyed in winter as well as summer.

The shopping centre The Biosfera Plazza is not to be missed. There are fashion shops including Zara and many others . Bars are plentiful, serving Tapas and meals at reasonable prices. Most off them have sea views.
There are lots of places of interest to visit one being The Fire Mountain. Trips are very easy to book and reasonably priced.
In the early part of the year there are several Fiestas were you can dance till dawn.A truly memorable experience.
The Sunday market at Teguese is a must for bargains and colourful entertainment.
BUSES AND TAXI'S ARE PLENTIFUL. Both leave from the front of the Flora apartments a short walk away.
There is great night life in the " New Town, " known to locals as The Strip, or beach road.

All UK airports have flights to Lanzarote airport, Arrecife.
Car hire is available to book a short walk from the apartment.
There is a ferry service from Arrecife.

Further details indoors: THIS IS A REALLY COMFORTABLE STUDIO APARTMENT. Light and airy and is south facing so you can enjoy the sun all day. It has an open plan lounge with large sofa bed, glass top coffee table and wardrobe/cupboard also 19" flat screen TV.
The kitchenette/ dining room is fully equipped with ceramic hob, small oven / grill, fridge, electric kettle and toaster and benefits from a glass top dining table and 4 chairs.
The bedroom area is separated from the rest of the apartment by a partition and Venetian blind for privacy. It has a super king size bed and glass top bed side tables with lamps should you wish to read before turning in for the night, or perhaps you may wish to watch a DVD or some TV instead. The choice is yours. There is also a large double wardrobe with shelving, providing plenty of space to hang your clothes. The chest of drawers houses a 26" flat screen TV, DVD player and radio/CD player. Books and DVD's are provided for your entertainment.
The en-suite shower room has WC, wash basin, walk in shower with glass screen and hand grip. There is also a shaver point and a hair drier is provided.
A ceiling fan and table fan are provided for your comfort for those hot days and Air condition is planned for later in the year.
For your piece of mind we have installed a safety deposit box for your valuables.
THERE ARE FREE WASHING & DRYING FACILITIES ON THE COMPLEX.
Further details outdoors: Sliding patio doors lead out from the lounge on to the sun terrace which has a sun canopy for those alfresco meals and drinks. There are pool side showers for your convenience. The pool terrace has a picnic table and seats and free sun loungers for you to top up your tan.

A small welcome pack is provided on arrival for your convenience. The local supermarket is closed on Sunday. Open weekdays ; 8.30 - 1pm. Then opens at 4pm - 8pm. Ish...
A little walk will bring you to the large Hiperdino Supermarket which opens 7 days a week.
Please take care when moving glass top tables.
Please take extra care when entering and leaving shower as wet tiles can sometimes be slippery.
Pets are not allowed.
