About the home

This is a spacious one bedroom apartment with an en suite bathroom which has a shower cubicle. It has a small kitchen which includes all the usual, with a two ring electrical hob, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster.

The lounge consists of a dining table with four chairs, two armchairs and two put-you-up beds suitable for children or extremely good friends (you will need to go through the other bedroom to get to the bathroom) These can also function as extra seating.

There is a satellite TV with approximately 30-40 channels of various languages. There is also a DVD player that you can view your favourite films (DVDs not provided).

Outside you will find a spacious seating area which has terrace furniture, where you can relax or have a meal or two. There is a reception in the complex to deal with any problems you might have.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote is one of the islands making up the Canary group providing sunshine all year round with temperatures ranging from 20 degrees to 30 degrees C.

The eastern islands like Lanzarote offer stunning landscapes and boast beautiful and golden, sandy beaches.

Nice centrally situated complex, with restaurant/bar and swimming pool, including sufficient sunbeds. The beach and harbour are an easy ten minute walk. There is a large supermarket situated behind the complex, and a new shopping centre which is a five minute walk.

The Puerto del Carmen area

There is an area of past volacanic activity, plus numerous other places of interest, details of which are available from reception and the local tourist office.

The area around the harbour and the Old Town are full of winding streets and quiet bars and restaurants. The newer part of town has a promenade and all the nightclubs and shops you would expect from a popular resort.

There is a large choice of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the complex, two golf courses (one 30 minutes drive and one 5 minutes drive), tennis centre and water sports facilities.

All the main car hire companies offer various offers and are very reliable and local. They offer the usual variety of models & tariffs.

These can be found either at the airport or at Puerto del Carmen along the seafront.

“Unpretentious, friendly and great location.” I found the small ground floor flat basic yet comfortable. It is situated within a nice complex with friendly staff, as well as within easy walking distance from the beach, harbour, shops and public transport to explore other parts of the island. What I liked best was coming back from a day at the beach to relax on the little terrace in front of the flat which caught the evening sun and always attracted the good company of other like-minded holiday makers. It was a thoroughly enjoyable week at Puerto del Carmen.

“Great apartment and brilliant location” My partner and I stayed at the apartment in June 2012 and had a great time - the apartment is in a great location, within walking distance to the old town and the new town. Has a great pool, which always has sunbeds available and the bar/restaurant is great for breakfast/snacks with really friendly staff! The apartment has everything you need, fully equipt kitchen, lovely bathroom with a powerful shower and lounge with a TV, CD player and radio and tables and chairs both inside and on the patio. I have just booked to go again next year and cant wait! Thanks Don for a great stay

“Fantastic time” My husband and I have stayed in this apartment twiceJanuary 2011 and January 2012. Both times we have had a fantastic time. The apartment is fairly basic but we found it very cosy and enjoyed many happy evenings eating and drinking on the patio. The apartment is close to everything you need for a good holiday - the beach,bars, restaurants, the town etc. I understand that the bathroom has been refurbished since our visit and that a new sofa is to arrive for the lounge but personally we found it perfectly acceptable as it was when we stayed. Thank you Don for two lovely holidays in Lanzarote - maybe one day we will meet??
