Home description
Ground floor apartment with two single beds and a large double sofa bed new for 2008. There are only eight apartments in the complex sited around a central swimming pool and all day sunbathing area. The outside terrace of number 3 benefits from the sun from mid morning to sunset! The interior is tastefully presented and well equipped with most home comforts including satellite TV,video ,DVD,CD player and a wide range of music, films and books for your enjoyment. The kitchen includes a breakfast bar which seats 4 and is equipped with a cooker and 4- ring hob,microwave,fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. The bathroom benefits from bath and over the bath shower, bidet and hairdryer. The large twin bedroom includes a double wardrobe, shelving, two fans and a safe. The windows in the bedroom have a fitted mosquito net.

The Lanzarote region
A very unique island renowned for its spectacular lunar landscape carved out by its volcanic past. Warm temperatures year round with more sunshine and less rain than the other Canary Islands. Situated 100 km of the west coast of Africa, cooling breezes temper the strong summer sun. The island is only 45 x 18 km but is blessed with numerous golden sandy beaches and places of interest for all the family.
Puerto del Carmen / Central Puerto del Carmen area
Puerto del Carmen has grown from a small fishing harbour (which still exists, and where the best seafood restaurants are located) into a thriving holiday resort. The traditional charm of the old town is contrasted with the huge choice of good restaurants,bars and night life. The main avendia runs alongside the main beach and is an excellent place for relaxing, strolling or exercising at any time of the day but especially in the evenings when the sun is setting. Numerous high street shopping outlets will entice you off the street at the biosphere complex, but wherever you are in the city the absence of high rise buildings and the presence of white washed houses give the whole area very much a holiday feel.
How to get there
Direct flights to Arrecife airport. Las Palmeras complex is only a 12 minute transfer from airport. There is a wide choice of hire car companies to chose from which are very competitive and located just directly opposite the arrival terminal. The airport is well serviced by taxis and the fare should be no more than 12 Euros.

Further details indoors: There is a welcome pack in the apartment and numerous tourist leaflets and maps giving info on the wide range of exciting activities to do while on the island. A fold-a-away cot bed is available on request. Linen changed weekly, towels twice weekly.
Further details outdoors: The complex is completely enclosed with its own lockable security gate.The apartment has its own external key box, no need to take keys onto the beach!! While lounging around the pool there is the option of both open and sheltered sunbathing areas and outside showering facilities. The complex has its own off street parking and also a luggage storage area, useful on change over days!.
