The villa's superb location ensures peace and quiet for guests, whilst being close to all the towns amenities. The villa is only a ten-minute stroll from the old town and harbour and is only 400metres from the beach. The nearest supermarket, bank and public telephone are only 200 metres from the Villa.
Of course, with Lanzarote's fabulous year round climate, guests will be keen to soak up the sun. The sun terrace is the perfect spot in which to sunbathe on the comfortable, adjustable sun loungers set in peaceful surroundings. For those guests wishing to harbour from the sun, three large parasols are provided. The barbecue and garden furniture provided are ideal for those summer evenings, when wishing to dine al-fresco.
The private heated 6m x 3m swimming pool (which is cleaned twice weekly) ranges from 0.6m to 1.75m in depth. With its Roman steps it can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. A convenient outside shower is situated adjacent to the sun terrace.
Great care has been taken to ensure that all modern facilities and the comforts of home are provided for guests.
The villa has off road parking, which affords easy access to the villa entrance.
All round the Villa Helena is a superb base for a family holiday at any time of the year. For added peace of mind a local management company will assist with any maintenance and queries during your stay.

Between the lounge and the dining area is the entrance hall of the property, and the stairs leading up to three of the bedrooms. Located here is a fully serviced fire extinguisher in case of the unlikely event of a fire, and a downstairs smoke alarm for additional safety.
The dining area contains a dining table with six matching chairs and side cabinet.
Also situated on the ground floor is the fourth bedroom with en-suite bathroom. There is also a separate WC adjacent to the dining area.
The villa is also alarmed and has a safe for that extra peace of mind.
The lounge of the villa is beautifully furnished with two corner suites, a glass topped coffee table, glass fronted cabinet complete with both red and white wine glasses, cane sideboard and television cabinet. In addition there are all the comforts of home with:
A 32” LCD television and Wifi access available
A Hi-Fi, which has a tuner/tape/CD player, so don't forget to pack your favourite music to while the hours away.
A single unit video and DVD player which is ideal to entertain children and adults alike. A number of entertainment videos are provided but bring yours too if the luggage will allow.
The kitchen is accessed from the dining area and boasts all the necessary modern amenities. It is fully fitted with an upright fridge/freezer, full size dishwasher, full oven and hob, with overhead multi-speed fan extractor and light, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and Braun multi-practic along with all the standard utensils, glasses and crockery required to comfortably support eight guests.
The dining area and kitchen afford access to a lit sun terrace/patio area to provide some quiet moments away from the hustle and bustle of the pool, or for al-fresco dining. Leading from the kitchen is a utility room that contains the washing machine, ironing board, steam iron and clothes maiden.
This area is also used for storage of the loungers, lounger cushions and large parasols.
Leading from the entrance hall is the stairway up to the top floor. A large and attractive full-length window on the intermediate landing gives a light and airy feeling to the property and 1st floor landing. This area has a smoke alarm installed that has been sited to provide cover for all bedrooms. Access to the three upstairs bedrooms and the main bathroom is from the 1st floor landing.
The family bathroom has a full size bath with overhead shower. There is also a full suite of bathroom furniture which includes bidet, toilet and vanity unit above which is a wall mounted mirror with integral lighting. An electrical outlet is provided here for use with appliances at the vanity unit. A hair dryer is provided for guest's use. The en-suite bathroom consists of a three-quarter bath with overhead shower, toilet and vanity unit with wall mounted mirror. An electrical outlet is provided here for use with appliances at the vanity unit.
The villa is provided with its own quality towels, which are changed twice weekly. These items are for internal use only.
The villa is supplied with a hot water system which provides an abundance of hot water for all guests at all times at high pressure.
One double bedroom is situated on the top floor of the Villa. It has a king-size bed with bedside cabinets and reading lamps. In front of the king size bed is a wall mounted mirror, and a set of drawers. A hair dryer is provided for guest's use. The main bedroom also has a double wardrobe, which has ample space for the storage of all your clothes for your holiday. Also located within this wardrobe is a fixed keyed safe for your use throughout your stay. To one side of the king-size bed there are double louvered windows which lead out onto the private upper sun terrace which has a table, chairs and outside lighting.
The second double bedroom is situated on the ground floor and has a large double bed with bedside cabinets, reading lamps, a set of drawers and a full size double wardrobe.
The en-suite bathroom consists of a full size bath with overhead shower a WC and a vanity unit with wall mounted mirror. A hair dryer is also provided
The villa has two twin bedrooms. Each bedroom has a centre positioned bedside cabinet with bedside reading lamp. There are double wardrobes in each of the bedrooms which both provide ample space for the storage of all your clothes for your holiday. The twin beds in both rooms are raised from the floor and provide space for the storage of your suitcases. Opposite to the wardrobes there are lockable louver doors, which lead onto a small terrace which adjoins the louvered doors of the second twin bedroom. Each louvered set of doors has an additional set of sliding patio doors that are also lockable.
Further details
Villa is available for rental on a week by week basis. The changeover day is flexible however the villa must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure with the villa being available from 2pm on the day of arrival.
Cot(s) and high chair(s) can be provided at an additional cost of £15 per item per week (linen not included).
Fold up bed(s) can also be provided at an additional cost of £35 per item per week (including linen).
Car hire can organised for pick up at the airport, a booking fee of £30 per car booking is applicable.
Welcome packs of varying standards can be organised at very reasonable prices.
Conditions
A non-returnable deposit of £150 per week is required to book the villa.
Full payment is required 10 weeks prior to departure.
A damage retainer of £150 is required to be paid at the time of full holiday payment i.e. 10 weeks before departure, this damage retainer is returned to the client when the keys to the villa are received back and a no damage report is provided to ourselves from our management company on the island.
The Lanzarote region
The Island of Lanzarote is situated just 70 miles off the coast of Africa and is the most easterly of the Canary Islands. Lanzarote is 37 miles (60km) long and 12 miles (20 km) wide, making it the fourth largest island in the Canaries.
Lanzarote enjoys a mild dry climate with average daytime temperatures ranging from about 21°C in January to 29°C in August. Annual rainfall is just 140mm (5.5 inches). This makes Lanzarote the perfect year-round destination.
As with the other Canary Islands, Lanzarote is Volcanic in origin. Due to the recent eruptions in the 18th and 19th Centuries, many parts of Lanzarote appear to be from another world, often described as 'lunar' or 'Martian', so much so that parts of 'Planet of the Apes' were shot here.
The dry climate (and lack of erosion) means that the Volcanic Landscape appears much as it did just after the eruptions. Amongst the many stunning Volcanic features of Lanzarote is the longest Volcanic Tunnel in the world, Cueva de los Verdes, which is over 7 km long.
Despite the Volcanic nature of the island, Lanzarote has several beautiful white beaches such as at Playa Blanca and Papagayo.
Local authority regulations on the amount and style of development mean that there is no billboard advertising and no high rise buildings in Lanzarote (with the exception of the Grand Hotel in Arrecife).
The Puerto del Carmen / Los Mojones area
There are too numerous attractions and activities on the island to mention all of them here are examples of some that the island offer:
Aqua Park - (or Ocean Park as its called) is situated on the outskirts of Costa Tequise, which is some 15 minutes away by car or bus from the Villa Helena.
Timanfaya National park is a must-see for any visitor to Lanzarote. 50 km² of Volcanic Landscape and Craters, as well as the 'El Diablo' Restaurant where traditional Canarian food is cooked in a natural volcanic oven.
Rancho Texas - The Nature Park is host to a wide variety of Animals and Birds including crocodiles, white tigers, pumas, turtles, iguanas, armadillos, prairie-dogs and many birds of prey. There is a special area for the kids to touch and cuddle small farm animals. With a new attraction a sea lion show.
Submarine Safari - one of the worlds most sophisticated tourist submarines operates from the exclusive marina of Puerto Calero.
Go Karting- The site is 50.000 square meters and has one of the largest circuits in Europe: 2,146 metres long. There is a SENIOR track of 1,281 metres for adults and a JUNIOR track of 865 metres for young people. Also on offer are smaller tracks of 100meters for young children using a small circuit of battery MINIFORMULAS for the very young ones. There is also a RADIOCONTROL track for radio control cars.

All children under the age of 16 go FREE!!! Villa Helena is situated in Puerto Del Carmen on the beautiful island of Lanzarote. The airport on Lanzarote is called Arrecife. Flights can be taken from all major UK airports along with a number of smaller regional airports. The villa is approximately 15 minutes taxi ride from the airport which costs around 15 euros. Car hire can be arranged for pick up on your arrival at the airport.

I can safely say having stayed at many villas, this is our favourite! March 2012 was actually my 3rd visit to this villa and i would definitely return. It is in a fantastic residential location, a short walk from bars/restaurants. Brilliant pool and facilities including BBQ, washing machines, sky TV etc. I would recommend this place to anyone! |
