About the home

This villa is in one of the most sort after locations in Puerto del Carmen, just five minutes walk from the beach and lively promenade, in a luxury gated development with elevated views of the sea, the fire mountains and Fuerteventura. Yet only ten minutes walk from the old harbour with excellent restaurants and lively bars.

Only about a third of the villas at Vistas have a full sea and mountain view and this villa has one of the best views on the complex. It also has the larger outside terraces which are very popular with guests.

A hire car is not essential as taxis are cheap and plentiful and the local bus transport is only five minutes walk away.

The villa has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the double en suite with shower and the other with twin beds and bath/shower. The spacious lounge and fully fitted modern kitchen are very elegantly furnished to a high standard with every modern convenience to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is a 32" flat screen television in the lounge.

The villa has the advantage of being an end property with larger terraces, on the top row of the complex with the best views. Sliding doors lead out on to the large split high level patio from the lounge and bedroom where you will find patio furniture for al fresco dining and a gas barbecue. Ceiling fans are provided in the bedrooms.

A fold up bed is available for a child if required. Cots and high chairs can be provided at a small charge.

There are adjustable shutters on all the windows for extra security, privacy and a cooling aspect in the hot weather.

Some English television channels available.

Large selection of books, CDS and DVDs.

Towels and linen are supplied, towels are changed twice a week and linen once a week. There are some beach towels available for use when sunbathing on the patio.

WiFi is a complimentary service offered to guests, however, it is not intended for downloads or business purposes.

A welcome pack is provided on arrival with essentials, water, coffee, tea, milk and a bottle of wine!

There is a British management team who are happy to assist with any queries.

The property has a large patio, terrace and heated swimming pool. There is also a small garden at the side with cactus and flowering shrubs. Patio furniture - loungers with covers, table, chairs and umbrellas.

A child safety gate is fitted on the top patio from the steps leading to the lower terrace. There is also a hand rail leading down the steps into the swimming pool.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote is the most exclusive and unusual of the seven Canary Islands. Situated off the west coast of Africa, you will find a wonderful combination of subtropical heat with cooling breezes. Annual rainfall is extremely low and therefore the island offers most pleasant weather throughout the year. All kinds of activity in sports and leisure to suit all ages can be found, due to the islands superb mild climate. Visit the dramatic coast line of El Golfo with the wonderful sea food restaurants, the valley of a 1,000 palms at Haria or the quaint fishing village of Arrietta, there is so much to see in addition to the main tourist attractions of Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise and Playa Blanca.

The Puerto del Carmen / Central Puerto del Carmen area

Puerto del Carmen is the main holiday resort in Lanzarote with its wide sandy beaches and palm tree lined beach promenades and it has been a favourite destination for visitors for many years. Only 6 kms. from the airport and central to visit any part of the island, it is very conveniently situated. The resort offers a great variety of restaurants, bars, discos, shops and sports facilities. The old harbour is especially picturesque with its quaint fishing boats bringing in the fresh fish daily. All amenities are within walking distance of Casa Estrella.
A new golf course has just opened on the outskirts of Puerto del Carmen only 5 minutes drive from the villa.

The main air lines that fly to Lanzarote from the U.K. are Easyjet, Ryanair, Jet2, Thomson, Thomas Cook, Monarch, First Choice but over the internet there are many other charter airlines you can get at budget prices, www.expedia.co.uk and www.travelsupermarket.co.uk as examples.

“Everything you could want and more” Fantastic location and breath taking views The bungalow has everything that you need for a relaxing holiday - The pool area is secluded and very quiet, fully equipped kitchen, Washing machine and dishwasher too - Great collection of Books to read when you have finished your own. free wi-fi was a god send for our son - The management company are very helpful especially Elaine and the Pool cleaner Nathan (even though he is a liverpool fan) - supermarket across the road and a larger one at the end of the road - We had wonderful weather for 20 days - a couple of windy days and nights but needed as was very hot - My one tip is when you have walked into the Old town, get a taxi back to Bungalow - the walk home was a killer up hill and only 3 .30 euros

“Effortless Relaxing and refreshing” The aircraft wheels touch down and we unlocked the door of our villa 30 minutes later having cleared immigration, collected baggage, passed through customs and hailed a taxi.. never done that well before.. brilliant. The villa is great.. one of the few we would return to. Comfy beds.. nearby shops and restaurants. heated..(!) pool.. just right.. felt like home. Support staff, pool, indoors and transport are great as well. Sea views from the south facing terrace and pool are uninterrupted and lovely.

“Perfect stay in Casa Estrella” My partner and I stayed at Casa Estrella for two weeks in April, we were thrilled with the villa, pool area and spectacular sea views. We found Casa Estrella homely which was nice as we were there for two weeks, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. The towels were changed regularly and the staff were very helpful. We will definitely stay again.
