Puerto del Carmen / Los Mojones area
The bustling resort of Puerto del Carmen, once a small fishing village, now boasts all the facilities and amenities of a Spanish holiday town and is the island’s mot popular resort. Renting a Puerto del Carmen villa is a great way to enjoy a holiday in this beautiful part of Lanzarote.
The main street, Avenida de las Playas offers a wide variety of ‘Duty Free Shopping’ as well as many bars and fine restaurants. There is a lively nightlife for the energetic as well as a range of attractions for all ages.
The resort has a beautiful wide sandy beach stretching for 5km, which is ideal for families. The old town and the harbour with its seafood restaurants are well worth a visit.
Puerto del Carmen is situated approximately 12km south west of Arrecife Airport and can easy be reached by taxi or car in 20 minutes.
How to get there
Casa Orquidea is 12km from the airport. Directions and maps to the villa will be sent to you when your booking is confirmed. If you contact us we can also arrange car hire and transfers for you, along with flights and travel insurance.

Further details indoors: An entrance hall leads to two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, two twin bedrooms and a family shower room. There is a large comfortable sitting room with archway to the dining room and American style fitted kitchen, with breakfast bar. The villa benefits from all modern appliances and has a Satellite TV, video recorder and a stereo system for entertainment. The villa is very comfortable, being furnished throughout to a high standard. It is ideal for a quiet and relaxing holiday.
Further details outdoors: Double doors from the living room lead to an open terrace, which surrounds the 8m x 4m swimming pool, with roman steps, which is heated during the winter months.. A portable BBQ and patio furniture is available to experience ‘alfresco’ dining. One of the outstanding features of the villa is a six person “Sundance” Multi Jet Hot Spa which can be found in a special, fully tiles room, accessed from the sun terrace. Comfortable sun beds, with cushions and a parasol are provided. The villa is within an enclosed plot and offers good all round privacy.

Guestbook for Casa Orquidea
I just wanted to send youa quick note to thank you for providing us with yet again another fantastic standard of accommodation on our recent family holiday to Lanzarote. Villa Orquidea in Puerto Del Carmen, was ideal, well maintained, a perfect home for us for the week. The staff in resort were also very good. Rosemary called by to see if everything was ok, she advised of good places to visit, provided us with a map of the island, advised of good places to eat, she was very helpful. We will definitely look to go back to that resort next year.
I just wanted to write and tell you that we had a fantastic holiday in Villa Orquiedea in Lanzarote. The villa was fantastic & was in a great location that was only a 5 minute walk from all the shops, bars and restaraunts, we would definitely without a doubt go back again. Many Thanks.
