About the home

Villa Lavender Carmen is a very special villa, designed for privacy. It is located in the central residential area of Puerto Del Carmen and is just five minutes walk to the beach and the main street with shops and restuarants. Decorated with a touch of Provence, you will find the villa has everything and every detail has been thought of.

The main living and dining area has a lovely atmosphere where you can enjoy digital television a dvd or listen to your favourite music, relax and enjoy.

There are two bedrooms; a double and a twin - both beautifully decorated with two elegant bathroom. The double being en-suite with walk-in shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, blender, juice-maker, washing machine and many more items for your convenience.

From the kitchen you step out to the patio with barbecue and dining table and chairs ideal for al-fresco dining. This leads to the heated swimming pool, sun-terrace and Jacuzzi.

Air-conditioning in this cool villa is only available in the living room, however ceiling/portable fans are provided.

Villa Lavender Carmen is home sweet home in a well established location and will appeal to couples or families alike seeking quality accommodation.

Prices are based on two persons sharing. The supplements per week are £75 per person. When searching for the correct amount of people these supplements will be added to the booking form when making a booking.

The 2nd week half price offer is not applicable to this villa.

Holiday Villas in Lanzarote

Lanzarote is an incredible island, born of volcanic eruptions and lava flows. After the molten rock had finally stopped flowing, Lanzarote had become an island over 300 square miles big and with mountains that reach up 670 metres. The last eruption on the island took place in 1824, so the volcanoes are classed as dormant, but that doesn't mean you can't be astounded by the subterranean power that created the island during a stay in our villas in Lanzarote.

Although Lanzarote has been inhabited since 1100, by the Phoenicians, the repeated eruptions there mean that little is preserved if the settlements compared to other areas that were similar settled, particularly those in the Mediterranean. The eruptions also drove away large groups of settlers again and again as they ruined the soil and destroyed farmland. However, all these eruptions have left an incredible landscape for you to admire when you take a holiday in our villas in Lanzarote.

With the island being an excellent example of what volcanic eruptions can do to a landscape, one of the highlights of a visit to Lanzarote is a trip to the Timanfaya National Park. An eruption in the 1730s covered a quarter of the island, and a bus tour around the area will amaze and astound you. You can visit the Mountains of Fire, where magma runs not far below the surface, and enjoy a dinner of roast meat, cooked by the heat of the magma itself. There is also a Visitors' Centre, which explains which plants and animals live on what can seem to be a totally dead landscape. There are also trips through lava tunnels, left by lava flows that developed a hard, cooled crust during their flow, only to have the centre stay warm and flow down, leaving a hollow shell of solid rock.

Of course, every holiday should give you time to relax, and when you stay in our villas in Lanzarote, you'll find that the beaches are the perfect place to do this. Although there are opportunities to go snorkelling, scuba diving (Lanzarote has some wonderful coasts to explore), parasailing, canoeing and more, you'll want to spend some time just lying on the beach, and there are plenty of great beaches to enjoy with all sorts of facilities and nearby restaurants. You can spend a day relaxing in the sun and then enjoy a delicious meal, sampling some of the Canary Islands' local cuisine. Try the meat or vegetable dishes wish some of the mojo sauces that you'll find in any local restaurant. You can also take of Lanzarote's wide variety of international restaurants, selling English, Greek, Chinese, Indian and Mexican food. There's plenty to choose from.

Our villas in Playa Blanca allow you to take advantage of the south west of the island and the great beaches you'll find there. If you'd like to spend more time on the southern coast, our villas in Puerto Del Carmen are perfect for just that. With summer temperatures that average 29°C, and which occasionally reach into the 40s, Lanzarote is a superb holiday destination for anybody wanting to relax and get away in a wonderful, almost alien, landscape.

The Puerto del Carmen area

The most popular resort in the whole of Lanzarote, Puerto Del Carmen has an endless selection of amenities with numerous shops, stylish bars and cafes situated along the beach. Due to its year round sun, Puerto Del Carmen is always a hive activity, whatever the season. A visit to the Old town of Del Carmen shows the more traditional, quieter side of the resort. This attractive, old fishing village area is more peaceful and offers a number of excellent harbour-side restaurants.

The long, dark, sandy beaches are the perfect and stretch for over 3km. The water here is much calmer than in a lot of the other Canary resorts which makes it much warmer to swim, especially in the shallower areas. With a wide range of sports facilities complementing the abundance of attractions in the resort, Puerto Del Carmen is perfect for those who want to get plenty of activity from their holiday, whatever the time of day.
