About the home

This is a small attractive complex of 16 is bungalows ideally located within 150 metres of the avenida and beach of Matagorda and only a short distance from the busy commercial centre with all it's bars, restaurants and shops. There is both a large swimming pool and a separate smaller children's pool, surrounded by large sunbathing terraces and sun loungers. The bungalows sleep up to 2 adults and 1 child. Some of the bungalows have sea views.

- Separate bathroom with bath/shower, toilet and washbasin ( some of the apartments are currently being refurbished and have walk in showers).

- Comfortable lounge with terrace doors opening on to the terrace. TV with limited satellite channels.

- Safety deposit boxes for hire. Limited reception opening but with staff on site daily. The is also a communal washing machine (small charge for use).

The Lanzarote region

The Puerto del Carmen area

Salmarina Bungalows are located in Matagorda of Puerto del Carmen which is within easy access of the main promonade and sandy beach and the comercial complex of Matagorda. The busy resort of Puerto del Carmen started life as a fishing village and now boasts all the facilities and amenities of a spanish holiday town, with an abundance of shops, restaurants and bars. A variety of restaurants offer multiple options for the visitor to decide where to eat. From traditional restaurants, offering typical local products and establishments specialized in national and international cuisine with dishes from around the world. There is a long sandy beach where sun beds and shades are available for hire and in addition various water sports available. There is a reliable and inexpensive bus and taxi service allowing you to explore all areas easily. The popular marina of Puerto Calero is a short drive or you can take the taxi boat from the old town harbour to spend a relaxing afternoon watching the boats. Activities include: Theme park, boat trips, Deep sea fishing, island excursions, golf course, diving, mini golf, go karting, tennis, sports centre, bike hire, shopping centre, spas and wellness centres, horse riding (in Macher village), whale museum (Puerto Calero) Water Park (Costa Teguise)
