About the home

One of the newest developments in Puerto del Carmen, boasting panoramic sea and mountain views.

This family owned bungalow has a large, split-level terrace and private heated swimming pool measuring 6.5 x 3.5 meters.
Internally it is fitted out to a very high standard, with fully fitted kitchen, 2 twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, 2 bathrooms (one en-suite). Patio doors lead from both the lounge and master bedroom onto the terraces.

The bungalow is situated in a quiet area, just 5 minutes walk from the beach and the main tourist areas.

Recent additions include Sky TV, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, ceiling fans in both bedrooms and free standing fans in living area .

Free Wi-Fi is now available for all guests.

Only 30% of properties in Vistas del Mar have perfect sea-views. Casa Jacquelene is one of them. Check out the pictures.

The top terrace which is an ideal setting for sunny breakfasts and drinks at sundown, is separated from the pool terrace by a lockable gate.

This is done so that you can keep control of the little monsters, who always seem magnetically attracted to a pool :-)

Although we actively discourage smoking within the house, the terrace is by far the best place to enjoy a cigarette and a drink. With views like we have, you will find it irresistable.

The Lanzarote region

Often described as "The Mystical Island" mainly due to its unique Volcanic Landscapes, the island suitably contrasts this by its beautiful white sandy beaches and warm crystal waters.

Set 60 miles off the African coast, the island experiences long hot summers and short sunny winters.

There are no rainy seasons, the norm being about 10 wet days per year.

Lanzarote has escaped the wild excesses of the Holiday market and mainly appeals to families and couples who prefer a relaxed happy and untroubled holiday

Friendly restaurants of all types to suit all pockets, are found in abundance all around the island, our favourites being in the traffic free, old harbour area of Puerto del Carmen

The Puerto del Carmen / Central Puerto del Carmen area

A vist to the Fire Mountains is a must, followed by a trip round some of the Cesar Manrique attractions, which are all constructed in harmony with the landscape, utilising the natural shapes.

Papagayo Beaches are another area not to be missed, along with the Sunday Market in the ancient capital of Teguise and the chic sports marina of Puerto Calero with its catmaran and submarine excursions and its wealth of bars and restaurants.
Within 10 minutes, walk we now have the excellent Shopping Mall, Biosfera with stacks of shops, cafes and bars, a world class sports centre with a multitude of sports catered for and 15 minutes away, Lanzarote's newest attraction, the new golf course, situated directly to Lanzarotes newest and modern clinic/hospital.

The Waterpark in nearby Costa Teguise is a favourite with the kids both young and old !

If partying is your bag, then the main Puerto del Carmen Fiesta of the year is in the first two weeks of August when the old town area bursts to life with music and dancing into the wee small hours.

February is Carnaval month on the island. Who needs to go to Rio when Arrecife is only 15minutes up the road from Casa Jaquelene.

For those of you who now Puerto del Carmen but have not been here for a while, the whole beach avenue has been re-modeled with wide pavements, cycle track, nice restaurants , new lighting and only a single one way access for traffic. You will love the changes.
